Fortunately, I found all skill points and do not have to be subjected to that line anymore.

This is where you bring in some former military to help out with the script.

Although the dialogue is corny I don't mind it when maybe travelling to a mission - although turning it off as an option should definitely be a thing - but once you're on mission, the audio should sound different as if coming through a radio headset and not directly, and radio discipline should be observed. The characters should switch into professional, well trained radio comms, with lowered voices and precise information using call signs.

The Original did this really, well and the squad voices and style were a major part of the tension.
