    Conqueror Revival

    Alright, I am sure Ubisoft never reads these forums and all, but I think i might give it a try. What the heck is wrong with Conqueror? Can't feint, slow movement, low damage, easy to interrupt, slow attacks, only combo is light, light, heavy, which would never work against a skilled player as you get parried in your second light attack... The only special movement is the shield bash, which are very easy to dodge, and if you magically deal it, unless you pushed your enemy against a wall, you only get one or maybe two light attacks. The zone attack is useless against players, charging your heavy attack is too predictable, full block stance has no use other than an obvious shield bash... Do I need to go on?

    I know Ubisoft is busy with the new characters, but as a Conq main I am done with this. I don't want to start over and master a character again... Let's see Kensei. Let's see... The other heavies deal a lot more of damage and have a lot more uses. Warlord has super armor at the beggining of the attack, so it's not easy to interrupt him, Shugoki has super armor too. I think Conqueror was just filler for this game, or maybe a forgotten plan. The Knight's hybrid, Lawbringer, is more heavy than the legite "heavy" conqueror... If you call a dude with weak attacks and average defense a heavy, of course.

    Conqueror is ****ing ****. I love conqueror. I love the weapon, how brutal they are, I do like some of their moves but that doesn't make them good.

    Last stream, Roman said conquerors are in a good place? Get ****ed, like **** they are in a good place. Their one combo is strong? Yeah...when you actually land it! Not to mention going from shield bash into light isn't vortexed like, oh...the Warden or the Valkyrie, which are ****ing awful to get out of.

    I mentioned this issue before and apparently it was fixed but yet...it's not. Conqueror vs. Warlord. Both characters do their bash (shield bash and headbutt) both land....only one character gets knocked back while the other gets an unblockable attack through. Guess which character gets the attack through.

    Conqueror is listed as Defensive. Can you take a guess which character doesn't get blocks on light/heavy attacks? Doesn't get uninterruptible attacks? Has a really terrible defence? Is really bad when it comes to counter guard breaks?


    Conqueror is severely underpowered compared to the other characters. He is easily punished and the reward of heavy damage come at too high a price. An attack that is easily parried or...you are in a state where you can't counter guard break. So not only are you risking charging it, but you'd be lucky if the thing lands. Now I have a trick or two for helping hit through but the game just seems so inconsistent with the timing for it.

    What's even worse is, the easiest fight I would say a conqueror does have is shugoki, Shugoki is rewarded far too greatly for ****ing up. Shugoki are slow, so it's easy to block but obviously your one ****ing combo of shield bash into heavy that's actually reliable becomes unreliable. Now the stance shugoki have is understandable...except when it comes to revenge. Really? You make them immune to being knocked down even WITH revenge? That's really stupid, you get your revenge and there's a character who can completely **** all over you for it.

    There's so much more to say about conqueror but with this dev team it's a waste of time. It's been repeated several times across the forums yet they think conqueror is fine.

    I hear you conqueror brother. Maybe one day they will finally read my pages apon pages of rework suggestions that make sense because of the extensive research and refrences that I have provided.

    Hopefully they fix that superior block heavy that works 2% of the time at 60 fps.

    Conqueror's design is so cool. His weapons, shields and armors are really amazing (except the main chestplate, it's just some rags he took from a homeless person). I still think he was intended to be either something completely different or simply filler. Like, "hey, Lawbrigner is twice the heavy conqueror is, but he looks cool as a hybrid. Hey I know, let's make a filler character. This character will get a good design but will be utterly garbage. It's not like anybody would pick him..."

    Conqueror needs a revival. His 3 attacks are not comparable to Orochi's, kensei´s, warlord's, or basically any other character's huge attack/combo set. Our only combo is obvious light light heavy and some predictable shield bash. We want an unblockable like shugoki or an uninterruptable like Warlord. Pls.

    a skilled player would block the first light, and is that true about the conqueror being in a good place? whether you think he's to weak or too strong that is ultimately untrue, if only because he has one tech Shield>Light no fighting game or any game should ever play that way

    I believe that he should be able to get a free heavy off his Shield Bash AND be full GB punishable on dodge up the risk up the reward make matches go faster would give him a 50/50 of sorts

    and this is not debatable he NEEDS to be able to Guard Break Interrupt while charging his heavy attack if the devs cant see the wisdom in this, this game is truly lost
