I think being out of combat should be more punishable like you cant counter guardbreak anhd things like that. Fighting without lockin is only acceptable for chasin orochis otherwise things like that shouldn't be in this game.

I believe we should be fixing many of the out-of-guard mode combat bugs to make them more consistent with their guard-mode counterparts with the upcoming patch.

Warlord needs a wallsplat to get a heavy in, Shugoki didn't. People do spam it, but it's not as reliable and is a bit easier to dodge than Oni Charge.

I think the ability to spam that move will be significantly lowered if they require you to run a certain distance in order to initiate the shield charge. At 6:36:45, you can see the little shift back into almost immediate charge, that "bug" existed with shugoki charge, though rarely used, but it's way too powerful to stay in game. I think they sprint backwards for a split second, initiate charge, and immediately change direction
