They really should have played the old MMORPGs.. like back in 2000s. Then, they'll know what "grind" really means

I played pokemon when I was younger >.> around 90 levels between the last gym and the champion before you have a chance at being competitive in some of them. Heck I know someone who on the train to a tournament hatched a new team and trained them all in such a way as to increase the stats he wanted which means only battling very specific opponents, this before the 3ds ones which give you help there.

You can make almost 1k steel/day just from the daily orders. 2k is basically nothing. I mean, it's a nice little boost for free, but in the grand scheme of things it's not a huge difference.
Although I may be biased because I have like 70k steel (just from saving, not microtransactions).

I am aware it is a grind i get on every day to get my free 800 steel. It not a handout steel is hard to come by and there was less than 2 weeks notice about the armor upgrades. Plus i think ubi wouldn't mind if people kept playing their game

Hell even the old jrpgs. Getting the master materia in ff7? ESPECIALLY the master summon. Grinding for that took longer than the actual THREE DISK MAIN STORY LINE.

...which i did again a few years ago when it popped up on the psn store haha. Best game of all time.
