Warden main here. Since launch,( more specifically in the last 2 patches), Ive noticed a huge difference in 3v1 & 2v1 fights. Im in the top 3% with K/D, and dont usually have too much trouble when outnembered, but lately ive noticed I seem to be getting killed 100-0 health with little meaningfull input, and the fights just seem.. more clumsy I guess, and just luck based.
Ive noticed that when I get hit by one opponent, im stuck in a long stagger state where I cant defend myself (even if I have my block facing the direction the next attack is coming from) and it ends up essentially locking me in place while the next one wails on me uncontested. Oftentimes I cant even get a single input in before im dead, and back in the beta/ launch, I dont remember this being the case.
Ive also noticed that unlocked rolling seems to take much longer, attacks take a second to register my input etc... So im just wondering if this is my connection (which hasnt changed), the current changes to this P2P, lack of players or has this stuff been nerfed? Would love to hear what you guys think, or if youve noticed anything.
Also, on a seperate note, I heard that roll was getting nerfed? This sounds like a bad idea, and I think itll further serve to break the game and give players in 1vX engagements less tools to work with. This was one of the only ways ive found to avoid ganking, by using the odd roll to reposition yourself so that you werent surrounded on all sides, and gave you a second or two of respite to face one/two enemies, as the others would then have to swing through their teammates. It also served as a tool to escape a vortex. If anything, Roll needed to be buffed by having a major stamina cost reduction. Im failing to see any scenario where roll was OP or in need of a nerf given it was an anti gank/ anti vortex move. It already feels nerfed atm, so I cant understand the reasoning behind nerfing it more, as opposed to buffing it.
Heres an old clip I have back when revenge wasnt nerfed, but you can see the theres no way I wouldve been able to hold my ground if I couldnt roll. I hope Ubi reconsider the upcoming nerf. Starts at 1;30.
Anyway has anyone noticed a stunlock difference? And do you think roll should be nerfed? Cheers.
