I've restarted my Modem and Router.
Restarted the game
Restarted the PS4
Waited 2 hours.

I confirmed that this is not affecting everyone because my girlfriend's copy works just fine on her PS4 during this incident and I watched a friend's livestream 10 mins before this post.

Side notes:
*PS4 user
*Slightly irritated I paid $60 for a game encountering these kind of problems.
