Here are my to biggest issues with the current load out system:
1. Load Outs are NOT Global across all characters on the account.
I find the task of having to recreate each load out on each character painfully time consuming. For players like myself who have four max level characters and run all content each week, the ability to only have to create a load out once, instead of having to create it 4 different times would be nice. This would allow me to play through all content on one character using different loadouts dependent on content situation and/or group composition. If I get an upgrade I can then update the loadout, before I transfer all my gear to my next character to run all the content over again.
2. Gear Management has not been improved, despite increasing backpack space.
The increase to backpack space is a nicety, but it does not really solve the problem of gear management. The issue still remains transferring all gear from backpack through the stash into another characters backpack item by item. As well even though backpack inventory space is increased it does not logically seperate new loot from load out gear. All gear is jumbled in the backpack. As a former Infantry Soldier I suppose this grinds on me more than most, backpacks have compartments where different items are stored, systematically with purpose and priority of use and accessibility. Why can't load out items be kept in a separate compartment than looted items within the backpack?
Here are my solutions to the above issues:
1. Make load outs global across all characters. If you create a load out on one character, the load out will be a available as a selectable option on all other characters.
2. Make a load out tab for the backpack. Items can be transferred from the loot compartment to the load out compartment and visa versa. This will keep load out gear separate from looted gear. To upgrade a load out simply move the new item to the load out compartment update the load out and move the old gear piece to the loot compartment.
3. From the load out tab in the backpack, have an option to crate all load out equipment. This single crate can then be transferred easily from one character to another through the stash. Once the crate is transferred to another character you can open the crate via the load out tab in the backpack, opening the crate unpacks all load out gear into the load out tab of the backpack.
Having four characters is not meant to allow you to play the same character four times.
If you seriously only have one way that you can play, start grinding to copy that build for the other toons.
I play this game from sun up to sun down, I currently run 8 sets of gear, those 8 sets were obtained by running all 4 toons through content each week. How I chose to manage my characters is not dictated by you. For your information if you had even cared to comprehend what I wrote, I DO NOT have only one way to play. I play 8 different gear sets, that is 8 different ways of playing. I am almost positive other people actually have more sets they change up on a continued basis.Originally Posted by mckrackin5324 Go to original post
There is no ****ing sense in grinding 4 sets of strikers gear, 4 sets of Sentry's gear, 4 Sets of Highend Gear, 4 Sets of DeadEye gear.... there is no damn reason to grind duplicate sets of anything in this game, that is just stupidity.
The fact is I grind content on one character, then I transfer all my sets to a different character. I then load the different sets depending on what content I am currently running and group composition I am in. Once all content is done on that character I again transfer sets to other characters. I do this for each character until all content for the week is complete, this includes Legendaries, Incursions, Missions, Underground.
If you were not meant to be allowed to play the same gear on four different characters, then all 4 characters would not have shared stash, all 4 characters would not be able to wear gear obtained from any other character on the account. The absurdity of your statement absolutely baffles me.
I asked for a similar option ages ago though for different reasons.
I wish we had a menu in the main menu where you could load up all your characters inventory and the stash and then manage it. It's not that I want to run the same builds, etc, but it's easier to manage the limited inventory/stash space then having to constantly log in and out between characters.

Another thing that has irritated me for a while now is sorting of gear. In back pack inventory you simply click on the respective slot, if you want to swap out chest you click on chest slot it pulls up all the available chests currently in your back pack. All gear in back pack is easy to go directly to, however, the stash on the other hand you have to scroll through every item in there to find an item. Yet, the recalibration station has the ability to sort by item type, click on mask pulls up all the masks, click on chest pulls up all the chests, etc. Why doesn't the stash have this feature, it would make it so much easier to sort through gear inventory. If I am looking for a particular set of gloves, I simply click the glove slot icon and it pulls up all the gloves in my stash, instead of scrolling down through all the weapons, all the masks, etc... It is not that difficult to grab the scroll slider and pull it down, I understand this, but it would so much easier if the stash sorted like the recalibration station.
Another thing that has grinded on me for a while, is the fact their is not a search function in either backpack or stash. Lets say I am looking for FireCrest, instead of scrolling through everything I can simply type in FireCrest and it will only show FireCrest Items.
By no means is what is currently in game not usable, its just that it could be so much better. The fact that this game is a 3PS Looter, one would think the inventory management system would be more robust, intuitive, have greater functionality, and provide greater ease of use for the player to manage.
Allowing weekly rewards to be claimed 4 times on one account from one character would probably be the much easier (technically) way to solve the similar problem.
I didn't say "not allowed".Originally Posted by SMU_STYGIAN-6 Go to original post
I said that's not why they have four character slots.
Players like you will never be happy so I wouldn't put too much weight into your requests.
Listening would make "no ****ing sense". There's "no damn reason" for it. It "is just stupidity".
The absurdity of your reply to my comment absolutely baffles me.
