Who will the new heroes steal mains from? | Forums

On May 16th there are two new characters coming and I was curious who people think people will migrate from to fully main these characters. I don't mean spend a lot of time playing, in my own case I am going to work to get shinobi to rep 3 or 5 but I will always be a peacekeeper main (unless shinobi really is that damn awesome that I can't bear to touch anything else), I mean I was a (insert character here) main, I am now a centurion/shinobi main.

My suspicion is that a lot of orochi players will pick up shinobi and a good percentage will stay with him, maybe some peacekeeper players. When it comes to centurion, the one that immediately comes to mind for me is lawbringer.

I'm a Peacekeeper and Warlord main, and I'll probably take a look at both characters movesets and try them out in the practice range.

I'm looking forward to Centurion out of the two as I like the aesthetics of that character more. I just hope his moveset is fun and decent.

Im a PK main, ill be trying both out, but I think ill lean more towards Shinobi. If they make any sort of nerf on top of what they already did for PK, expect A LOT of people to do the same. They both seem very quick, agile, fluid and dual wield. If he has a good Light attack and GB punish, it just screams new PK.

Yet to find another class that I truly like outside of the Warden. Hoping that one of these will give me the same gratification i get when playing as a Warden.

I main Orochi and I really play the rest equally so I am looking forward to both but that Centurion looks so badass I really want to give him a go

I have a rep 18 orochi and i will likely leave him behind to move on to the shinobi

I'm a warlord main and I will probably love both of these new characters. Shinobi may be the assassin for me. Centurion is more about style than actual gameplay so far, and shinobi just because it looks like chaos incarnate. Having one of those against you in a 3v1 must be a bastard.

Pretty easy to predict

Shinobi

- PK's who are butthurt they can no longer spam their way to victory and are looking for a new flavor of the month to exploit

- Orochi who are bored of the same old generic tactics match after match.


Centurions

- Raiders who wanted to be the smug DGAF kind of fighter that beats your brains out and then wants to rub your face in it, but are sick of the Raider being less than great.

- Conquerors who wanna be a big guy who smashes faces, but is tired of being a turtle.

I don't have any Hybrids that I use, they are all less than level 10, so I will check out the Centurion for that role

Will be playing Shinobi too, as I like my assassins....

I have a "main" for each class.... Kensei, Warlord and Zerker... but nothing for hybrid... so yeah, they'll both be getting some hammer.
