2 times now, our helicopter has become unresponsive and it will fly straight to the "ceiling" of the game, as high as it can possibly go. It will not respond to any controls whatsoever, and the only way to get back to the ground is to parachute. I do not have a video. This is on the latest version. Once, it happened while I was solo. Then today it happened again, this time I was online with a friend.

This has happened within the last 3 days. I didn't play today so I'm not sure if the issue persists. It's random and intermittent.
Yes, I can make a video, however, the video will simply show a helicopter flying up as high as possible, that's it...

Hey moderator...its happening to me to....both LT and RT buttons will make helicopter go straight UP, and will not respond? FIX THIS PLEASE I USE HELICOPTER FOR MY MAIN VEHICLE!

I was in the middle of a boss mission where I had to extract some guy from a little fortress that was on a series of islands and it took me a hell of a long time to clear it all out. I was trying to find a place to land the Chopper and my wife spotted an area and I started to land then boom, ceiling glitch. My only option was to jump from the Chopper but the captive didn't jump with me so I had to redo the whole mission. Was not thrilled.

I feel your pain....its a game killer for me, I use the helicopter a lot, due to the fact the open world is so massive....I dug a little about this glitch and there is older thread about the same issue....so ubisoft is well aware of it...just hope they fix it asap! Bye the way moderator im on the latest patch and the latest console update?

The same thing has happened to me twice now. Specifically while i was holding the right trigger, and back (down) on the left thumb stick. I was trying to gain altitude in the helicopter, and then the controls were "stuck" in that position. No matter what I tried on the controller. I had to bail out.

just imagine that you're being delivered ****ty used helicopters from the rebels and the elevator rods keep breaking. keep the immersion.
