It's an amazing huge game world that has been totally under-used by Ubisoft so it would be nice to see more done with it, but not zombies. Maybe a war mode where everyone attacks everyone and it's all a bit crazy, or end of the world mode where there's no vehicles, no partners and you have to survive against occasionally enemies in small and large numbers. All that said, it will never happen. The game's dead as far as further development goes and instead we'll have to see what Wildlands 2 brings us.

Please, no zombies. I'd say let them make a seperate game if they have any interest in that. Don't further defile GRW with more nonsense. If I want to shoot zombies, I'd play Sniper Elite Nazi Zombie Army. And I don't play it that much.

Imagine a good political thriller drama, like House of Cards, say, suddenly had a Zombies episode. The series would be over, it would have "jumped the shark" in TV speak.

Anything goes now with the series! Ghost Recon had its life-support machine turned off the day Narco Road was released.

People like to say there have been so many zombie games and there have been--- and yet no one has really made THE ONE. It could have been Red Dead's but they chose to make that world single player... It could have been State of Decay, but they chose to make that single player, and then you have all those ugly grindy boring survival zombie games like DayZ, Infestation, PC blah blah)that never got it right.... So all I'm saying is... NO ONE has EVER pulled off the open world, vehicles, online co-op amazing graphics zombie game. People THINK it's been done, but it hasn't been done.

The one that came closest was Undead Nightmare, but single player.... GTA coulda but didn't... no one's done it, so it's like a giant chest of sunken treasure that no one's gotten.

GRW could do it and be amazing. They won't... and the trophy and winning will remain unclaimed.... for now....

Give Dying Light a try if you haven't already. It has everything you describe, although the vehicles don't factor into it until the (very worthwhile) expansion.

NO WAY!! Dead Rising (any of 'em) were far better! Can you imagine the unending thrill and tactical reality of a GRW play through in women's underwear while wearing a marshmallow head?

    Yeah. Me either.

Oh.......................you meant play the other game; not play GRW like the other game.

State of Decay: Year One Survival Edition is the best of the lot.

There's so many games that are either focused on zombies, or add in a zombie mode. Soooo so so so many options to choose from. We don't need more. Even Capcom realized the whole zombie thing was being overdone.

    More I think about...

I would like this game world design (not neccesarily Bolivia) to be used for a totally separate Zombie FPS (no third person).

I love zombie games and this open world would be cool for that type of thing but I would rather they continued to improve on the core of the main game to make it what everyones hopes for. Maybe Fallen Ghosts will hit that survival itch you have, I just hope that it doesn't lock you out of the entire map like NC
