So what is the Point of Gear Stats at all! Even though I have put in hours and purchased steel to get Better gear for better stats, but according to your graph, gray gear will be equivalent to what blue was, and then even with introducing the new "epic" it will be equal to what the current purple gear max is. Look at the graph and see what I am talking about. Then you say, you are going to make the penalties greater,,,, Yet, the bonuses (if I'm understanding it correctly) will be lower because you are making the gear matter less and skill more so people will try other classes. So if the bonus for gray is being raised and bonus for other rarities will be lowered, yet the penalties will be raised, what is the purpose?

Ubisoft, - or Creators of For Honor. What is the purpose of play testing before you release a damn game? What happened to players having to master games, versus, making games easier - (AKA - MORE Balanced) so that people that don't want to master them can be on equal footing with someone that takes the time (or even in some cases, spent the money for steel) to craft and make and master their class / build to suit their play style?

NEVER AGAIN - I am done with games that care more about getting everyone playing them versus "honoring" their initial vision and direction for a game. Is your game for "EVERYONE"... Or make special modes where "gear stats are not even used" or only particular stats. If you want to cater to all, but give players choices, not force your "I want to make it easy for others" ideology on people that have already paid their money for a game that they saw going in one direction, and purchased a season pass, and spent even more on buying steel....

LESSON LEARNED Now - Rainbow Six, The Division, For Honor - Don't buy your games at launch and at launch price. What a year till you have changed the whole game and also made it cheaper for new comers, then I can get the game for cheaper, not be used as a beta tester, and then learn to play the game as it will be played.

    This is ridiculous!

Then you say your self, "We play tested teams of gray gear vs teams of gold gear and the gray gear teams were winning. And that makes sense to you how? That makes someone care about getting gold gear? It took skill to get the better gear, so it was still a skill based situation. It's not like you could have a level 1 character and just buy purple gear, you had to play them, and build skill (at least that is what should have been happening) to get to the point that you prestige them, then even be able to equip better gear.

So will I give a damn about leveling / ranking my character and getting better with them, to get them to be able to equip higher tier gear when it wont matter? And guess, what, the players that don't want to put in the time to learn and master a class, are still going to quit playing soon afterwards anyway!

That's like saying - hey we want everyone to be able to play football and be able to throw touchdowns, so we are going to make it where the quarterbacks don't have to practice, don't have to learn the weight of the ball, judge their strength and reaction time, etc, we are going to make it where everyone will have to be pretty equal, so that the running (full) back will even try to be a quarterback!!!!

    See how Dumb that is!!!!

It did look like the curve was a little bit too flat when I looked at it too. It looks like they may have made made the higher end gear not worth getting, but I guess i'll wait and see. I certainly won't be blowing steel on chests for a while. I do like the idea in general though.

    Also - think of this...

Instead of fixing or making my Matchmaking system match A Gray gear hero with someone that is using a Gray gear hero, we will just make the difference in the gear so small that it wont really matter, then people will not complain when they are Matched Against someone with Epic Gear!!!

That speaks volumes, either not enough people play in order to match make, (which I believe because the network code usually makes a match not playable from beginning to end, so people have stopped playing) or they don't want to fix the match making, because with this network system they are using it isn't really possible.

I'd really like this question be answered in the next dev stream as I can't be online for the livestream version .

Over the course of the game since released, each hero had a specific amount of Execution, emote and even ornaments (even those from single player campaign) that got built up as new weekly patches got introduced.

Will the new heroes have the same amount of emotes, executions etc.. similar to the other heroes? i.e. each hero now has like 5 or 6 emotes. Or will they start with the minimum amount, the same way when the game released and the heroes started out with 3 or 4 executions etc...

Also, as a viking, and winning the season, does our reward for those exclusive ornament be also passed on to the new heroes (centurion and shinobi). Or are they excluded from that?

    Thanks!

Can you please throw a link here? Can't find anything related to the new executions and emotes of those heroes in general discussion.

    Thanks.

    EDIT:

Nvm, found it thanks! But my question was more related to whether they are all getting the same amount, including ornaments from season wins.
