    Patch data shows the xbox has had most benefit from the connection patch but it is very much a first patch and work in progress. In my own case, I have had days I can 4v4 all day, days I can barely start one, which is better than 100% not starting one.

    They are working with microsoft over the dvr issues on xbox.

    If you were a viking and did not get season rewards, contact their support group. If you don't contact them, they don't know, they can't fix.

    Content drop, mythic outfits

    May 16th kickoff, season pass holders get the new characters for free, everyone else a week later, 15000 cost. Everyone gets new maps on the 16th season pass or no.

    Full revamp of stats system coming

    Objectives
    Reduce gap between high and low level gear. In their minds it is a skill based game not a stat based game.
    Rebalance builds and stats.
    Visible values
    Introduce a new epic variety, however they do not want it to be a power race.

    Reduce gap
    New characters will get a gear stat, defence up 2-3% attack up 3%
    Instead of a straight line of value over time, their graph shows that there will be diminishing returns as gear gets higher. Values increase more for lower rarities and less for higher - think a curve rather than a straight diagonal line.
    With the new stats they have tested full grey teams against full orange teams (I am assuming they mean epic gear, that's their new colour for it) and more skilled grey teams have beaten them.
    The dump stat in gear will now be nerfed even harder. They also have some new stat bundles where they are all positive but very small.

    Rebalance stats
    Throw distance, sprint speed, block damage recovery and feat cooldown reduction were a mix of not used, not useful when used or made for annoying exploits, they have been removed. That is most of mine gone >.<
    Revenge gain by injury and revenge gain by defence have been merged into one stat that is revenge gain.
    New stats: Defence penetration (reduce defence stats of opponent), does not make you better against grey gear heroes. Split defence and attack into three separate gear parts.

    Clearly see which value is upgrading and degrading, green up arrows, red down.

    Gold rarity starts rep 5 so my peacekeeper can recover from losing her high stats when I have finished levelling shinobi some lol.
    Crafting costs and gains updated, salvage and steel costs on grey gear are lower.Orange will be around the cost that purple is now so I would assume purple and blue go down.

    25% increase xp in all matches.

    Currently maxed gear will be re-adapted into the skill spread above. Four crates at beginning of season. Twelve days champion status.

    Still investigating other uses of spare salvage (though obviously we also have a new gear rarity to go with).

    No plans yet for higher rep, they could, but not a lot of players are at rep 30 which is part of the reason they are increasing xp, so not in the line for season 2.

    New maximum gear score, 144 according to someone in chat!

    The forge (46:50)
    Fireballs! With a molten area underneath, guessing environmental there. Looks pretty neat all in all. New structure, the capture points are placed on the same side of the map. Didn't look at all the art stuff, needed to catch up after typing the gear stuff, so if there is anything I missed it is in there.

    Temple garden (56:45)
    Looks pretty neat, water which I guess we will drown in because no one can swim , big tree, temple itself. I think it might be my favourite look so far personally speaking. They wanted something that was less battlefield in concept.

    Centurion (1:04:51)
    Wow their knockdown options look something amazing, they have a triple stab like thing. Their execution is so damn show-offy I love it.
    They wanted to differentiate the centurion from the warlord (also uses a gladius), hence no shield. The guy uses his fist more.

    Shinobi (1:14:55)
    Very agile looking, their kusarigama gives them a scorpion from mortal kombat type effect with his pulling opponents to him. Dat execution! I am playing the hell out of this one.

    Next week Roman is going to go over gameplay and moves. People are losing their minds over the shinobi apparently (I am watching it here not on twitch).

    All platforms get stuff at the same time (second week in a row this has been asked).

    Questions from the community (1:20:22)

    Raider buff will be discussed next week.

    The team are monitoring the console issues at the moment, right now they don't want to individually balance them as they have other stuff they are doing. They are tweaking the deadzones, they are looking at increasing stance change speed for some characters. They are going to give the option to remap buttons on all platforms. Looking at the win/loss, they don't see a big difference. Peacekeeper, apparently, actually has a lower win/loss on the console than on the pc. If it is something that sticks around, they will look at it, they are looking at these changes first.

    Nothing in the works for the nobushi, they think she is in a good spot currently.

    Looking into feats and feat usage and how they affect gameplay, no specific changes in the works yet.

    Attack stats will no longer be taken into account with feats that boost attack, this sounds like another double dip fix like the revenge bug pre-nerf.

    Revive speed going down in new season

    Aware and working on the flicker bug (third time they have said this in four weeks, keeping count now since people still keep asking on here between dens).

    They are looking at the defence meta, they want high level players to be able to win through offence so sounds like a high level balance in that regard.

    They are looking at which neutral colours could fit in offence or defence, no, neutral colours that don't fit on either can't be used in team modes

    Guardbreak feint is being dealt with, it is a bug not a mechanic.

    Apollyon armour not available in pvp, it was meant to be iconic and epic, pretty much broke all the design rules in regular play.

    They want to address the conqueror but they are still in early testing. In terms of win/loss he is performing top tier levels but they do acknowledge he only has one strategy as it stands.

    No timeline on ranked yet, focus is on stability, balancing, etc. They are working on it but they don't want to go half-cocked on it.

    There was something about the warden charge that is being fixed, I couldn't quite get what with the accent but something to do with charging and changing target.

    Working on the player vs ai with matchmaking off bug, it is pretty much top priority right now among bug fixes.

    During season 2 they are fixing all the unlock exploits.

    Next week
    Roman talking about moves for characters and they will be discussing numerous release notes for season two. And that's a wrap.

    I watch it live when I can, it is in the period I could be preparing or eating dinner depending on what family are doing but I have caught it this past few weeks.

    Haha, I bet there will be a lot of salty 108 players with the gear changes.

    Good changes so far, I do like the new gear stats. Increased XP is awesome
