I may be a bit late but doesn't mean I won't say what is on my mind!
So I am a Samurai who pretty much stopped playing after Round 4. I realized at that point there is no reason to put in hours of effort in trying to win the war as hard efforts won't win wars given the fact that there are 3 factions whom will determine who wins. Samurai being the faction with the most deployed assets and still coming in dead last (31 Vikings) (18 Knights) (11 Samurai) in round 4 proves it. "Two against one".
Today I decided to check on Youtube to see what kind of rewards Vikings were given. Ornaments for every champion currently released... are you kidding me? You reward 1 faction with all faction rewards. I can't even think of any logic that, that would even begin to make this come to sense. Where is the incentive to stick with the faction you enjoy playing through thick and thin no matter how strong or weak they currently are? Maybe then people might stick to their own faction they have chosen instead of sticking to the flavor of the month (most broken champions).
Which comes to my conclusion. There is no incentive sticking to a faction in the games current state. I would ask of Ubisoft development team to consider this. If your reward is to give the winning faction a glamour reward for every single champion, then why not at the very least give the losing factions a glamour reward for the faction they fight for? At least then everyone gets rewarded for their efforts instead of getting more steel / boxes that really hold no true value for participating in a faction war... Oh wait! we got a boarder. Gee thanks! If nothing is done about this I would advise the community, let us all reroll one faction if you do not care about who you fight for and just want to reap the rewards for all your favorite champions... then everybody wins!
That said, I'm not even mad Samurai lost, I'm not jealous of the rewards Vikings were given... frankly I thought Vikings would of been presented with a much cooler reward like armor skins. What bothers me is the fact that you are rewarding an uncontrollable output with exclusive rewards that are for all factions instead of being within the faction and completely screwing over the losing factions efforts with a portrait boarder. Nobody wants a 2nd or 3rd place ribbon at the end of the day. It just doesn't make sense to me! Am I the only one who feels this way?
