I just recite some points and you guys tell me your opinion.

1.valkyries second light is way too predictable and easy to parry

2.without the second hit you can't really do any combos. Either you just spam the sweep, shield bash or need some serious
Feint skills (after a short time the sweep is easy to dodge and the enemy gets free gb)

3.her heavy is way too weak (1 heavy 1 bar)

My conclusion: a combo which connects 1 light and 1 heavy so you can really do tech with valk

Ps. Even high rep. Valk players don't use any tactics MOST (NOT ALL)of them just try to rely on the sweep

I know there will be different opinions on how op she is but pls just don't exaggerate

That are some serious skills
I wish more valk players would play like you instead of abusing the sweep

Just think it would be more fun to fight without relying too much on the unblockables like with feints.

I have so many combos i like to do but first you need the second hit which is not easy to get for most players

show me some real footage against a lvl 2 bot or actual players. this is basic mixups you did, don't feint a heavy then hit a light in that exact same place as their guard will already be there, if one light is blocked then your mixup will get interrupted.

i really don't know what to say. there is 5 video against acutal player on my page showing me doing them combo in real match.It is up to you to throw light on the side you want in the heat of a fight.I don't fight BOT regardless they spam attack and you cannot practice your feint against them

I also believe everyone knows light blocked interrupt your chain.

Also most opponent who fight valk will block instinctively right then left . Canceling the heavy bait a parry and the light is faster.

You cannot feint a single heavy out of combo chain in close quarter combat with the valkyrie , she is not build for. you will get overplay

Im playing on console and still struggle with the shoulder pin timing.
Any tipps?

the best place to master it first it is against the captain in advanced training. just perform the 3 counter gb asked and use the parry training to train your deflect.

you dodge in the incoming direction of the attack when the arrow blink red.For a light attack its gonna be on reaction no delay.You only press heavy once you hear the weapon of your opponent hiting your shield.

If you are good with parries don't mix it up .To learn how to deflect well , don't sit between maybe a deflect or maybe a parry you'll get punished by doing any good at the end .Also against a player who feint a lot . stick to regular block . if you miss a parry , sometimes , you still have a window for a shield crush.(very usefull to recover from mistake)
these are good defensive tips for the valk hope it will help
