    Separate Console Forum Please!!

Havn't played on PC myself to confirm I am only speculating based on reading this forum regularly that there is a game play difference between PC and Consoles. This difference creates much argument within topics due to not everyone experiencing the same game. It would be appreciated if we could separate out the PC players from the Console players so as to better identify what actual balancing/server/etc issues may be present in the game. For developers this will enhance your ability to update PC only or Console Only in addressing these issues. What may work on balancing for PC may not work for Console and vice versa and since all feedback from your player base is a confusing mess how do you know if you're really doing the best on making this game enjoyable for all users? I play on ps4 pro and currently feel happy with the game and all the recent nerfs/buffs; yet, I feel anxious knowing more will be coming that may upset balance if the PC users are the ones who mostly need it. IF my anxiety is nothing to worry about and balances across all platforms won't really make a significant impact then at least have a separate forum just so when topics are being discussed we can feel more secure that those commenting are experiencing the same game.

While i'm all with you about that For Honor on PC and Consoles are indeed two entirely different experiences, (if not to say games!) the forums even if they should, will never get seperated.

Why? - plain and simple, despite being the game's largest playerbase (and therfor highly likely For Honor's lifestring) Ubisoft spits on us, aka the console-players, they even "adjusted" the PK and Warden based on PC-based feedback and we on Console, have to live with those changes (no matter if it hurts the gameplay or not) if that tells you anything...

Long story short, da dudes at Ubisoft don't know jack about what the game feels like on Console, because they all play on PC.

PC get's the menu, while get the leftovers.

It did occur to me the other day that no one at Ubisoft appears to own a console, especially not an Xbox One. They claimed for days that they had disabled DVR on the Xbox One, and all you had to do to find out that wasn't the case, was play the game on an Xbox One for 5 seconds, press Home, get taken straight to DVR, and record all the clips / take all the screenshots you wanted to.

I'm not sure this is entirely true. From what I hear from the PC community PKs light spam didn't seem to be nearly as much of an issue for them as it is for consoles so then nerfing it seemed to be more for console users. I'm trying to think of other balance changes they have made that would skew more towards PC than it would console but aside from the valk buffs I can't think of any. The rest of the nerfs or buffs seem to balance both equally in my mind but maybe some examples are just escaping me.

If those players are having a different game experience then the PC then how can anyone relate/identify with a problem or tactic in the game if they are unsure what gaming system that poster is playing? If the player base is significantly higher then PC then it would be foolish for Ubi to focus on the PC gameplay only; UNLESS they are attempting to bring back PC players. Its just that since it plays differently, different tactics are viable on one system vs another then this causes confusion and anger among the forum threads.

    PC Player Posts Nerf Thread,
Console : "I never have a problem with that,, git gud,"
PC poster defends argument, show videos.
PC players join in defense, agree with OP
Console players rally in defense of NOT seeing an issue: No NERF! Stop being Scrubs!
Name calling ensues....Thread is now a school yard playground

Cycle continues on next forum topic

I believe much of the anger and salt on these threads is because we have two different games being argued about and no one stops to think that MAYBE that IS an issue for that person and entire player base but one I don't see on console or isn't seen on PC

I dunno, I didn't find them much different tbh (though admittedly I haven't played PC since the beta). It's mainly just reaction times to light attacks and guardbreaks because console players have half the frames and, depending on the person, a tv with a slower response time than a monitor.

Essentially scrubs can spam more, and top tier players need more skill on console.

But yes, it does hurt balancing when it comes to those mentioned mechanics, which is why the PK was such a pain on console since her throw does massive damage and light spam was a go to tactic.

Thing is, it doesn't seem hard to normalise. If you lower or move back the start of the response window, the bit where console lag and framerate prevents console players from entering a reaction, then suddenly PC and console player experience is largely identical.

Well, the console comunity is way more significantly higher then PC. Only Ps4 has more than twice players than pc. Just saying.

I don't know why anyone expected otherwise tbh. This game is a fighter, PS4 is the fighter platform of choice.
