Is this forum active?
There are multiple topics with no response, the most active topic is just arguing about hacking, and I couldn't find one mod post for the last 3-4 weeks (maybe I missed one??).
The game says to come here for issues but their seems to be even less response than opening a ticket.
I apologize if I'm missing some behind the scenes activity, but the public activity is very minimal.

You're not missing anything unfortunately. Obviously, this isn't really the place to come for help, which is a shame, but other players can usually help is the issue is minor or there's a known work around.
You're best bet would be to post in the general discussion thread and then also PM CaptainWheelie or Ubi-Negatron.
