How to get GREEN NAT ???

    Hi !

Since i bought and play the game i always just got / get yellow NAT. All connections for For honor and uplay client which try to establish a connection are allowed and work i see the traffic at my firewall.

One hint was / is to make sure that port 3074 is open and that connections are allowed to it. Connections over port 3074 work and traffic flows through it but still i just get yellow NAT.

Like i said before, all connections which for honor and the uplay client try to establish are allowed i see that in my firewall logs...the weird thing is that i get a green NAT when i disable my firewall.

I checked all the logs i really dont know what is causing it. Cause all connections uplay and for honor try to establish are working and traffic flows...there is not 1 in / outbound traffic from uplay / for honor that is blocked...so whats the problem ?

    Any other hints ?
I just dont get whats causing the issue...

hillbill79 will be along shortly to tell you that the best possible connection you can have to the For Honor P2P system is a Yellow NAT

The Devs have a Yellow NAT when they do their livestreams of gameplay.

Basically if you have Green NAT the game connects everyone with a Red NAT to you, because you're so stable. That's the theory. The result is actually an unstable mess for you. Unless you are having problems, I would stick with your Yellow NAT. Green has certainly not helped a lot of people, and possibly does more harm than good

I have the opposite problem. I want a Yellow NAT. I play on PS4. Actually I have two PS4s. Both are wired connections to the same router, ISP, etc. Both have the same ports open. When I do an internet connection check on both PS4s my NAT is Type 2. That is a moderate connection. However, my NAT is always Red on my PS4 Pro and Green on my original PS4. None of it makes any sense. Hence, a great majority of my matches are played v. Ai with matchmaking off because I just don't want to deal with the connections issues.

I have a green nat and i very rarely ever get booted even when people leave. Once in a blue moon ill get that random error that boots me back to the main screen.

Few weeks ago i had it like others where i could only complete 1 out of 10 games or less without erroring out.

It gota lot better. Like i said hardly dc now though last few days ive been mostly playing bots to level up and not deal with toxic people.

If you're on Xbox, just set it on DMZ in router settings. I had all the specific ports opened and it went from Green to Yellow, so I switched to dmz and now I'm good.
