SO,
with putting in my hours and many thoughts in this game, i find gear sets new characters apart from geared, and i know every one has experienced that and im sure you guys at ubi are aware too, but the more i thought about it the more i realized its more how the stats on gear is used in my personal opinion which matters very little any way. but i thought **** hey u guys listen from time to time and i thought i could make a suggestion any way.
so my suggestion is this:
stats on gear needs to disappear - i was thinking stats could have there own page with the still group of 3 for each category like u do have on the helmet, chest and blades ect. but be on a slider system. this would take shape of the same effects as epic (purple) gear, but giving u more flexability in the options of how much u want from each stat. this would also increase one stat while decreasing another while leaving room to adjust another partially. but at the users will rather than being set in stone from the gear u buy or find. in conjunction with this it could work in lieu of your overall rank, by this i mean, as your rank increases so does your ability to raise the sliders higher on your stats. By say rank 30 u have max level and can max out ur sliders. but obviously not all max cause that would be broken, it would still work like how your gear is now but with more control of where u would want certain stats. as i said before, as you raise one it limits another and reduces the other. but being able to decide which one and perhaps allowing for a personal balancing where a player sees fit would be a nice addition to the overall meta.
as another suggestion there is still one problem, xp gains are TOO slow for this idea and in its current state which, doesnt allow for new players to get any where yet again so if at the start of say the first 10 lvls its quick and then reduces to a steady pace after that then at least this gives new comers a jump start. this lvl system goes off your over all rank and not just on a character rank, but in saying that, theres nothing in my mind saying that you couldnt use this system on character base. so each character requires lvling to 30 for max levels on the slider system but with increased xp gains for the first 10 levels or so. im sure you guys could work it out. as i said its an idea and would bring a nice feel to the character builds. oh and last thing, xp lvls seem to slow atm any way, for part time players like myself its a sluggish and almost tormenting process to level a new character. and the gear you get at rank 3 really makes a huge difference and is a mile stone away from getting, 60 slow levels!, any way guys, Thats my suggestion!
