I got 6 tracks over the 3 weeks. Must have really lucked out (then again, I'm a new-ish player with a shortage of tracks...)Originally Posted by CabanonGH Go to original post
I just got parts, coins and tickets.
Still, i like the challenge of getting 1%.
It's not so much that I got parts...it's that I got 12 chain parts and I didn't need any. Of all the parts I could have gotten I got nothing but chain parts. Now I have like 16 of the tier 4 parts and 6 tier 5 parts while in every other category I actually need pieces. It was a little discouraging seeing that I got within the top 10% on each MC and within the top 5% on the last two.
Imgur's blocked where I am at the moment so I can't see your screenshot. Literally just Imgur and porn. It makes no sense.
Anyway, I reckon that's because you're such a great player and already have all the tracks and whatnot.![]()
MC 2. week (top2%): Headhunter’s head
MC 3. week (top 9%): Headhunter’s torso
and various spareparts, GTs etc.
If somebody can reach top 1% in the MC, it means he is a quite good rider, he must have long time behind, he definitely does not need more parts or coins, but needs tracks, trackmap pieces or perhaps paintjobs and outfits. (The app must know what items a player already owns!)
If RL thinks that a top 1% player should be happy with tenthousands of coins as a reward, then it is not good…
I got the headhunter head and torso in week 10.
Finally finished off that outfit.
i think UBI/RL's biggest flaw about this part of the game is leaving us in the dark
if some people enjoy the "mistery" and the surprise about what they may/will get, on the other hand a lot others like it a bit more clear (and the more experienced a player is, the more they fit in this category, says a reputable study made by dr. xing ping from azeroth's university)
if we knew from the start what prizes are up for grabs, and in which category they fall into (for example parts are "common", tracks are "rare", etc) maybe people wouldn't be so upset or feel "robbed" about the prizes they got
a player that already has all tracks, outfits and paintjobs can win ALL 3 weeks of the midnight circus and still won't win anything "amazing", because there is nothing "amazing" left for him/her to win! simple as that!
a list with:
"we will be giving this:
parts
gems
GT's
coins
track x
track y
track z
outfit a head
outfit a torso
outfit b torso
outfit b pants
paintjob g
paintjob h
paintjob i"
isn't hard to do, and then people know what's there (or not) for them to win and see if they want to play or not
kinda like the prizes/ranks on the bunker
i for example didn't play much this ROFL season because there was nothing for me to win. on the other hand, some people had up to 4 tracks to get
*what UBI/RL could do is not only "recycle" old prizes but also include something new, so that "complete" players also have something to fight for
i only played these 3 weeks of MC because i had 2 parts of the headhunter girl outfit still to get
next time, if the prize pool stays the same, there's nothing for me, so i either 1) don't play, or 2) play just for fun, but can't expect any prize that reflects the effort i've put into it
EDIT: my post wasn't specifically about the OP, more about the constant comments raised by this issue, and therefore a way UBI/RL could "defend" themselves a little bit![]()
