The purpose of this mode would be to give players the opportunity to fight in an area where in order to beat your opponent; you will have to actually fight them.

I am sure I can’t be the only person who is sick of being thrown off cliffs, ledges and into spikes. I love the mechanics of this game but feel bored and frustrated when this happens, which it often does. People who abuse the mechanic and base all fights around throwing the other person off a cliff are particularly infuriating. Nobody likes the matches on robot wars where a robot gets pushed into the pit – everyone wants to see them torn to bits. Who’s building these castles atop mountains with fatal drops and no fences all over the place anyway?

On many of the maps for duels and brawls, I also feel at a severe disadvantage playing along narrow bridges and corridors, playing Berserker as main. My character lends itself to a lot of movement, spinning attacks and dodging around etc which becomes extremely difficult in tight spots. Put me up against a shielded player such as Valkyrie with lots of forward thrusting attacks in a corridor and the confrontation becomes almost impossible.

Some people may enjoy this, but personally I don't, and would enjoy a standard "Coliseum" style arena optional for 1v1 or 2v2 matches where there is no edge, no spikes, and just a large circular pit to fight in.
