Like the game a lot, but my ancestors didn't have horns on there helmets or bones hanging off of them kind of prejudice. So give the Raider the option not to have them. Chain mail would be nice. On the Warlord the typical Viking sword was thirty inches not short like a Gladius Roman sword. More maps. Fix the servers and p2p please.
1) horns aren't used for battle but there are viking helmet with horns, so is 50% of trueOriginally Posted by NorsePictishman Go to original post
2)I agree with you with warlord
3) p2p should not exist in game like this XD should have dedicated servers XD
he has good reason , we speak about his ancient peopleOriginally Posted by Ackturi Go to original post
It's a fantasy game dude, the opening cutscene shows the world literally breaking apart like a cheesy Hollywood disaster movie.
No helmets have ever been found in Scandinavia, or Norse settlements abroad within the time period of the Viking age, nor preceding or following time periods, with horns attached to them.1) horns aren't used for battle but there are viking helmet with horns, so is 50% of true
In fact, only 1 helmet has ever been found that's been dated to the Viking age itself, and 1 other helmet dated to the time period that preceded the Viking age, the first was found in Norway, the other in Sweden, neither had horns.
Assuming Warlord stands around 5'10 (178cm), the sword he's carrying has a 26-28 (66-71cm) inch blade. That's vastly longer than the quintessential Roman gladius and on the short end of Viking age swords (i.e. still accurate).Originally Posted by NorsePictishman Go to original post
Forge and Temple garden are the new maps.
They're stylistic choices in a fantasy game. I don't think heritage really matters. Many of the faction themes don't make any sense. The samurai wear wooden armor. The vikings wear hides or don't wear armor at all. The knights wear blue jeans.Originally Posted by matt89connor Go to original post
