*** RIP THE DIVISION ***

Like many of you, I reeeeeeeeally loved this game. It had the potential to be an all time great. When I say ALL TIME GREAT - I mean this could have sat in all of its LEGENDARY GLORY atop the leader board for years to come.
The Massive (pun intended) mishandling of the lack of new content, gear score increase, and playability updates have turned this game into a laughingstock.
If you dont believe me, just check the numbers on active daily players ... they are shooting downward faster than the Seattle Mariners playoff chances.

Not that anybody at Massive ACTUALLY gives a removed (except maybe Mattshotcha) but lets go over a few of the reasons that I finally erased the Division from my hard drive.

Was it the trash servers? Nope
Was it the lack of new content? Nope
Lack of gear score increase? Nope
Was it those pesky little lame seekers? Nope
Was it Dead Eye? Nope
Was it because anytime I ever offered suggestions or feedback - it wasnt acknowledged? Nope

It was the way that all of this was handled. With non answers and vague responses all the while not fixing some of the things that were essential in keeping this game playable.
"Oh, we are going to reduce initial damage of seekers by 20%" when they needed to be nerfed 75%, then furthermore decided against taking any of the damage of and only removing stagger. Lame.
Any new content or gear score increase? Vague answers that do not give anyone a reason to think there is more content beyond the current state of the game.
Any possibility of server lag getting fixed? Hibbity bluh blah - vauge answer that says nothing...

So, I could go on and on - but if you are still in the honeymoon phase of this game, enjoy the hell out of it as we all did but be prepared to be led around with vague responses and non answers, ultimately to be disappointed in the end.

Maybe Ill give it a go again in the future - but damn it feels good not play the Division. When you finally give up hope on something that is hopeless it allows you to move on.

Good luck Agents,
