Just got out of a match where 3 Valkyries were running in a group and thats ALL they were doing.


I am not saying she shouldn't have a knockdown. I'm just saying she should not be able to keep me in an infinite knockdown loop.


And don't say sidestep because anyone who knows what I am talking about knows it doesn't work when the loop is performed a certain way.

Agile classes can pretty much dodge it no matter what. Slower classes if hit with a LA before the sweep can't dodge out of it.

Heavy + Shield Bash into sweep


Wash, Rinse, Repeat.


If the first one lands there is nothing you can do about the others. And if the scrub has Revenge? You are gonna die, because he won't run out of stamina.

I second this. Since I mainly play the heavy characters, dodging the sweep is hard to begin with. Even worse is that even my def-WL doesnät have enough HP to stay alive longer than this combo, so once caught, if the Valk plays her cards right, there is nothi9ong to be done.

The solution is very simple, one small thing that would let the assaulted character have a chance to fight back:
Make the sweep's knockdown not apply if the target is in it's get-up phase. In other words, if the opponent is getting up from the knockdown, only the damage connects, but the knockdown effect will not trigger. This will still keep the move viable, as the Valk may just wait for a second before launching the next set of attacks, but it will give the enemy a small chance of turning it around.

Not only a valk Thing.
Play against 3 wl and u will never move or anything. Same conq and friends.
Against 3 valks anyone will allways sweep. Against 3 wl anyone will allways headbutt.
In 1v1 the sweep is much weaker cuz it's easy dodged or even u dont get to that point cuz you avoid the hits before so u cant Chain to the sweep.
The headbutt and the bash are imo much more annoying cuz u dont have to combo before. U simply can spam it.

The only case where you can't dogde the "vortex" is when she's in revenge. In any other scenarios the sweep or the bashes can be easly dodged into a free GB. Only low/no skill players can't dodge the sweep, that's why a good Valk almost only use it when it's guaranteed

False. There is a combo, a special order in the combo which makes the sweep un-dodgeable. The combo is made in a way that you cannot dodge in the middle of it.

The only case where you can't dodge the sweep is when you are exhausted on the ground or GB into Spear Sweep.

Some people seem to miss the original topic posted. Yes, myself and the OP are aware how o counter 1 player using Valkyrie when cheesing. However this was three of them. And I'm honestly surprised I haven't seen this topic sooner. I was wondering when the groups of copies would be running the same heroe and abusing that sweep.

I'd have been the first to say something about learning the dodge timing, but that's based off a fair and balanced fight. Additionally the op even stated he knows how to dodge it. Your chances of survival become severely limited when you are not only outnumbered but then. Neither you, nor any ally in the immediate area, can move because of chained sweeps by a trio of Valkyries.
That's the problem, not one spam, but three.
