I don't really see it as a disadvantage, because the guard speed is quick. I am watching for the attack and the arrows whatever happens, and while others close off a vector, they are still going to have to react because no one is going to attack them there. It got to the point I reflexively blocked every hit in a chain with characters not an assassin because I got uaed to it well enough.

I really enjoy the nuetral stance, but I'd definitely like being able to maintain a stance by holding the stick. Would this present balance issues in favor of assassins?

I hate seeing my typos for the first time in other people's quotes lol. But yeah I have varying experience with warden, valkyrie, nobushi and conqueror, and even when attacks were coming in the same side I would hit the block each time because my first hours were assassin hours.

Not true, you can't see their guard a few seconds after you switch.

While they are at a disadvantage on defence, they have an advantage on offence.

Have we really gotten to this point?

    Really?

We ran ran out of actual problems to complain about? Someone should have told me. Cuz if we are gonna start complaining about meaningless things I have been meaning to make a thread about how the Raider doesn't hump the air NEARLY fast enough.

(The assassins need a neutral guard in order to maintain a certain aspect of surprise on their opponents. Also have you SEEN the way some of them hold their weapons when they guard? If I wanted a goofy looking character to fight with I would be a Warlord and keep my shield on my head like a hat)

    1. I completely agree on you that this is not one of the issues deserve talking

    2. It absolutely is NOT an advantage for the assassin, and absolutely a disadvantage since if the attack comes from the direction your depleted guard is, you cant switch guards fast enough to other direction and back. But I think it is an ok disadvantage, and I am fine with it.

    LOL

I always have trouble not laughing when I see the shield hat in action.
