    Extreme Difficulty Broken

    Hi all,

I feel like this may only be me, but having played on extreme difficulty more or less from the get go, after the recent patch I have been finding enemies act like they're on normal difficulty, despite having extreme selected.

    Anyone else got this issue?

Nope, but I did notice difficulty reverted to 'Regular' after the last patch. I noticed straight away because of the 'enemy clouds' on the minimap. Also, keep in mind that several people already noticed different behavior in the AI with regards to detection, etc. especially at long range. Insta-detect seems to be turned down quite a bit, even on Extreme. See this topic: http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php...etection-rules

Thing is, even if that is the case their aim has hit the fan, not saying they can't hit but I can run across a large open space now without dying and that just doesn't happen normally (tempted death a lot testing it). Maybe they're trying to make them more realistic, but not being able to aim right is the big red flag for me that something isn't right.

I had the same issue with the recent patch. It had automatically dropped me down to regular difficulty again and had to jump it up. Only problem is I was with a friend and when he did it to the game it glitched all of my spotting. I am unable to spot anyone anymore.

To be fair: there were a lot of people complaining about the 100% accuracy from the enemy AI. Maybe they changed that?

What would help is if we would get full patch notes: many of us have noticed that more has been changed than is listed in the current patch notes. Makes it hard to judge whether a change is a bug or intentional.
