Okay the Conqueror is a hollow shell of what he once was. Its sad.

I am not even a Conqueror player and even I can tell how useless he is for the majority of situations now. I got him to Prestige 1 and then put him down again so I am by now means a Conqueror expert. But I just can't keep quiet anymore as a player. If my Beserker was nerfed this hard into uselessness I would want other players to speak up for me and my hero in the same situation.

    - His shield bash is now his only useful move in team fights due to the knockdown and now the Lawbringer is just better than him at even that with his shove + Pancake Flip combo.

    - His most powerful swing is the single most telegraphed move in all of the game. The moment he starts winding up any sane or decent player simply takes a few steps back and waits for him to make a move or just cancel the swing to save stamina.

    - He is probably the best turtle, but all it takes is a person who knows what they are doing and he gets picked apart little by little. At BEST he can hope the enemy is dumb and lets him get in lucky swings. At WORST he is forced to turtle until he is ultimately pecked to death by his enemy.

    - He is the weakest of the 3 heavies BY FAR and there are other heroes that are just better and more useful to have as a teammate.

Before he was nerfed into dust a Conqueror was actually my LEAST favorite person to have to fight because I knew it was gonna hurt and it was gonna be hard. Now he is the person I have the least trouble with and that is just not okay from a balance standpoint. I especially feel bad for the players who genuinely earned their way to a high level Conqueror with great gear only to have him become a bad joke.

Ubisoft I get you guys are balancing, but you neutered the Conqueror.

    Hope you guys fix it.

Conquerors are maybe to most boring heroes to fight for same reasons you said. They should really do a rework for him, more options and more interesting fighting mechanics to make him more fun to use and play against.

    Agreed.

He has easily the most interesting weapon in the game to me due to the flail being such a dangerous weapon to the user as well. I think making his his attacks uninterruptible like the Warlord would instantly make him more interesting.

Plus it would make sense. The flail is not gonna magically stop obeying the laws of physics because you jabbed me with your sword.

Also the bleed resistance feat would work well with him given his playstyle.

Frankly, I cannot comprehend why they gave Warlord heavies the uninterruptible property and left conqueror with nothing equivalent. That's amateur balance and design work right there.

Right now conquerer just has nothing going for it. Literally just spam shield bash or guard break because everything else feels pointless (especially if the enemy is good at parrying, since feinting with the all-guard stance doesn't really lead to anything).

I agree, if anyone deserves to have uninterruptible attack its conq.

A swinging flail attacked to a chain wont stop coming at you, just because the guy holding the other hand of chain is poked.

If the conq. starts to wind up, I guard break them. No conq. worth his salt winds up, when you can guard break them.

The general problem is, that the conqueror had only one good move. The rest was trash or not really working even before the patch.

    Yeah he kinda does.

Considering he is a heavy and both other heavies have them and considering his weapon makes it make perfect sense.

But lets be honest. Uninterruptable attacks are cheap. I still like playing the conqueror - although it is not really effective - but I find the warlord simply boring. Enemy swings - counter with heavy. You will most likely win the damage trade. If anything alse doesn't work - head but.

Conqueror at least requires thinking but several parts if his hero specific treats are broken or more of a danger to yourself, than to the enemy. His charged attack is nice on paper but it is an invitation to gb you. The heavy counter attack is not really working properly as well.

On top, it is very hard to get combos is. His light attacks are slow - even on console, they pose no threat.

In short - great hero but too depending on terrain and one move.
