    What do you want to see in PvP?

    Personally Id like to see a snatch and grab type of game mode where two teams of ghosts are trying to capture and exfil an HVT to their respective zones. Of course the HVT would have to have around the same health as the players in order to keep him from dying so easily, but whichever team kills the HVT loses the round.

    Would also like to see a 4x4x4x4 mode where your teams trying to secure an area. For example in the Ague Verde the four teams would have to control each island.

    Or (this would be in a 2 teams of 8 setup) one team has to escort a floater drug sub or boat while the other team has to destroy the sub or boats; it wouldn't have a one life per round set up but It'd be set up that dying would put your team at a big disadvantage.

    5/1 Liking all of you guys' ideas. Survival would be great though (Way more challenging than those mortar survivals) where 8 players have to survive until an exfil chopper arrives or all operators die. Also could incorporate new types of enemies into the game [Santa Blanca and Unidad Juggernauts, grenadiers, rushers (unidad with shotguns, santa blanca with machetes)]. Additionally it seems pvp is coming out around the time of fallen ghosts so they could add them in too


    You guys have any ideas?

    For me the game modes ain't important but the playing areas are and with it being such a massive map it would be good if we had a good variety of the different regions to play in, there's a good few places that I think would be perfect for PvP Nidia's hacienda in Barvechos, the abandoned village in Itacua, Pachamama scars? in Ocoro, abandoned base in Monte Puncu (where the R5 is located) and the train cemetery in Koani

    Large scale search & destroy missions, slow paced and mythodical, or possibly other single life game modes with reduced equipment....

    Or Looney toons racing McChicken sanDWicH mini put put golf egg & spoon race DLC PvP. Either or...

    Faction/Gang/Clan territory control
    Would have whole map or certain area per season where cities/loctions have to be captured by a clan/faction and hold off from attacking other players more places held is more points and bonus for cetain # held

    I'd like socom type gameplay. One life rounds best of 7 with fun game types. Breach demolition types. I miss the thrill of your life feeling meaningful. Of course there should be respawn modes as well.

    Right now there are a total of 4 players allowed in a session. Will PVP allow 8 total? Or are we looking at teams of 2?

    That doesn't sound bad.
    The maps aren't going to be open world, are going to be standard mid-size maps (which is good) it gives more variation and better gameplay, you avoid campers using ghillie suits (something that sadly is going to happen) and the gameplay is more fast and less boring.

    I would love to see the pvp done like on Future Soldier, that game despite some people hating it, I love it, the campaign and the multiplayer had lots of things right and it was fun.

    it was class based, only certain classes were able to use certain things like the drone and you had only a one chance to use it, until you got killed, same with the grenade launcher you only had one or two shoots available until you got killed (if respawn was available that it will be) same with other classes.

    It was objective base and kills didn’t matter that much (something I like a lot) 100 points for each objective, you had to control it until the time ended (something like 3 minutes per objective) each kill equal 1 point (if I’m not mistaken) rounds length was like 15 minutes and at the end the team that had more points wins. It was called Conflict mode:

    Objective Game Type
    15 Minute Time Limit
    Respawns: Yes
    Rounds: 1

    And also a mode like in Rainbow Six Siege to give a more recent example but there was a similar game mode lon FS it was called Siege (strange isn’t?)

    Best out of 3 Rounds
    No Respawns.
    Attackers win round if objective is completed or defenders are eliminated.
    Defenders win round if time expires or attackers are eliminated.


    Defenders start first like on RS but on FS they couldn’t leave the zone were the objective was located until attackers appear, to avoid spawn killing.

    I would love to see something like that, I believe the multiplayer team isn’t the same that worked on FS but still 4v4 is enough but they need to do it right. I also would love some pve modes like on classic ghost recon or similar to the horde mode/Guerrilla mode on GRFS, something like:

    Firefight: Killed certain number of enemies on certain time. Coop/solo (would like to see AI teammates but if it is something exclusive for multiplayer, like in older GR games, solo is fine also split screen coop)

    Territory defense: Like the Guerrilla mode on GRFS but on classic GR you had to protect an area with infinite enemies until you die or time is up, you were able to choose of course, if you wanted infinite enemies/certain number of enemies, the length and with/without respawns so I hope they let us do that, if it is included. Coop/solo and again would love to be able to use AI but not necessary. I wouldn’t mind if it was something like Guerrilla mode.

    Like it or not, there is going to be respawn in some game modes.

    Modes that encourage team work, but don't force it on you and modes that force a team to an objective with no respawns to prevent stalemate camping. Case in point being the difference between the game in its first 3 phases and that which appeared in FS. Although Conflict wasn't a bad mode, it was the only one that survived in Future Soldier, it still had the mechanics that rammed teamwork down your throats via the intel loop. Instead of there being a subtle incentive to work as a team, the game was set up to make you fail if you didn't, which could make for some seriously one-sided matches. That would have been OK if there was some matchmaking that recognised the difference between a team of friends in a 6 man party and 6 individuals looking for some cooperation with likeminded players, perhaps. Like the main game, a return in the direction that made the franchise popular in the first place is what I mostly hope for.

    All in all I would like to see player choice and the ability to tune or customise settings and players up to 12 per side as well as the 4v4 mode we are getting. I honestly can't see any decent modes that use a huge map, but that could be a personal preference, so would like good sized sections 600m by 600m kind of size. I'm not overly keen on bringing vehicles into PvP as I think that will cause massive issues in terms of discontent from the playerbase!
