Why do people leave match? | Forums

Right before they lose a 1v1, some people will leave the match and get replaced by a bot. Why do they do this? Does it keep from registering as a loss and they keep their win percentage intact?

you don't teabag them 5-10 times after you win do you?

It is frustrating. I just feel that if you can not see a game out because you are loosing, then perhaps you should be playing this game.

They think they should never lose, just like the cheats who use that unlock bs or anything that helps them gain an advantage that they need to do good cause they can't handle losing pretty much everyone on the top of the for honor tracker but you clowns think they are good and sub to their streams. Then they emote spam like they are good. Although my favorite is when in a 4v4 mode you almost put a guy down in a 1v1 then help comes and you die to a 3v1 and the one you crushed in 1v1 emote spams like they did it all alone.

They leave because the game is OBJECTIVELY terrible. They could leave because they're getting guard broken over and over and over again, no matter what they do. They could leave because they kill someone and somehow due to P2P connection they come back to life. Or the P2P favouring their opponent rather than them letting lag dictate the match outcome. Most crash because the game is completely unstable. Most disconnect because the netcode/peer 2 peer is AWFUL meaning they don't WANT to leave. I don't blame them for leaving either way, though. I don't rage quit matches but I've wanted to at times (especially when you get paired against rep 20+'s while you're on a low lvl char or a low rep char)

It's really that simple, ladies and gentlemen. They leave because the game is trash.

Rep and gear do not affect duels.

In any case GB spamming is my trigger to leave, I just won't give the satisfaction of winning to a griefer.

Game is horribly balanced, and the systems surrounding the main fighting system are crap, but the basics are awesome, if they just lost their fear to do something bold like getting rid of all systems that don't fit with the style of this game, it could improve big time. That's why I still play, because I see the potential of this game and I'm still hoping they will fix it...

Imo it's a question of the Enemy.
I played my kensei and faced a warden doing nothing than turteling and sometimes just sometimes he was such a brave Dude and started a zone atack.
As fun i just wanted to know how much time he will spend into waiting and doing nothing. Yes the whole duell...
Nothing to do for me there.
Against this turtle abuses I just quit....

If this is true then why even fire the game up? It's not like anything drastic regarding connection issues is going to change any time soon. Yes if you get disconnected fine, it happens but it is kinda obvious when that happens.

This guy just left a match after I threw him off a ledge. He was asking for it with those Valkyrie eyes.

Another warlord quit after I blocked his attack with a side Dodge as the conqueror.

It's a sad thing when people rage quit.
I dont quit a match, unless I absolutely have to.

I've rage quit a few fights here and there for multiple reasons, such as:

A mechanic didn't work when I'm sure I did the right thing (probably the terrible lag) and it lead to a cheap death.

Play an Elimination game where the enemy is short and has a bot I'm fighting. Bot almost dead, suddenly gets replaced by a full health human player much higher level than me who proceeds to kill me in one hit.

Play Brawl and in the first 4 rounds, we set the precedent between the four of us that you wait for people to finish their fight so we all fight one on one. Looking in a position to win the last round, other team suddenly changes their mind and teams up for the win right at the end.

Playing duel and again set a precedent in the first four rounds that we don't ledge throw (have both hit guard breaks by edge and purposely not pushed). Winning last round comfortably, opponent changes their mind as they are losing and does a ledge throw.

Basically, things that leave me butt hurt and it feels better to just shut the game off and play something else for a while.

They need to make it so once your in a match your butt stays in it till it over just like they made WOT once your out of the game or your dead for good then you can leave and not before so people get what they get no more of the B.S. and leave because their getting their buts beat and i dont want to ruin my stats crap and that will end leaving the game early problem !!
