I've read in several threads about the servers taking too long to respond, no rewards against AI bug, that people test and it works on the PS4, so I thought it was important to point out to Ubi that it doesn't.
Or rather, it seems to work some of the time when you're solo vs AI.
If you group up with a friend, and turn matchmaking off, however, you get the exact same error message and problems people are reporting on PC.
Just so it's said, playing with friends against AI with matchmaking turned off worked fine until the day before yesterday. And it did count towards progress in daily orders/contract orders as well.
As an aside, after playing a couple of matches in matchmaking vs AI yesterday, we seem to be facing rank 2 bots even solo all of a sudden?
It's not that I mind, but I kind of miss Bubblyy MrSpotless and BurritoStew... I mean you play with these "people" every day and then all of a sudden..*poof*
Yeah it works fine for my BF when he solos, but every time we try to play together vs AI without matchmaking to try out new characters in the class specific orders, it keeps giving us that same error and no XP/steel/contracts from the match. I just wanted to point this out so PS4 didn't get overlooked when they look for a solution since people in other threads say ours works fine.
I tried solo too and I got the same error.
In case it is relevant to anything, we're on the same network with each our PS4 and this has caused NAT/grouping issues in other games in the past since we show up on the same network IP, but we have never EVER had issues with this in For Honor nor any other Ubisoft game until now.
