I doubt the likelihood of this game getting some big overhaul that we would all love - being properly updated and fixed.... Things like getting the Team AI fixed, being able to customise your squad mates... etc....



SO, if that's probably not going to happen I will lower my expectations and make my requests more realistic.

1) a LONE WOLF MODE. It would remove the annoying team AI, and you would play the game alone.
I would have thought this would be very easy to add to the game.
The coop mode essentially does that already...


2) KNIFE TAKE DOWNS. This is rumoured to be in the works.
I would love this to be added, and for me it would complete the single-player experience.



That's it... I think this is reasonable and practically speaking not so difficult to add, at least the LONE WOLF mode would be, and knife takedowns if the rumours are true.

They can't even allow you to change your AI's clothing.
Highly unlikely they'll add a whole new mechanic to the game.
Unless you're talking Helicopter Nitro boost. That they can do!

Lone Wolf would be an welcome addition. And we know it's possible because Narco Road has it.

Im not trying to be rude, but isn't something worth wasting time on, they are not going to do it because of how the story was made.

A knife mêlee mode would be kind of cool yes.

But a lone wolf mode? Really ,just dont understand why people keep asking for this.
I mean special forces never operatie alone ( Maybe in Some rare occasions as a sniper )
So it wouldnt make Sense. As a matter a fact allthough the AI team defintly isnt on par What arma 3 had or anything, but i find them usefull in at least Some aspects only if it would mean to have Some extra fire power and to use them to draw fire away from me when im eating led.

Want a lone wolf mode? Go play splinter call or something...

Allthough i have reason to believe AI customization Will ever see the light of day? I dont see a Good reason why they cannot allow you to customize your teammates

Firstly the original Ghost Recon games had a LONE WOLF option and terrorist hunt mode. I'm talking the Redstorm games not the latter arcadey nonsense found in those GRAW games.

SO, My feeling is that it's highly unlikely Ubisoft will spend the time and resources overhauling the Team AI at this stage..


The Team AI were clearly an after thought - that much is evident in how generally limited and also brain dead they are.

Not only are they incredibly limited In terms of the amount of tactical control you have over them, but also they don't even function to a reasonable standard.
At present the large majority of the time if shot at, they don't return fire. They only do if following you, or you command them to FIRE. All other commands, HOLD, MOVE they will become passive and not return fire.
The FIRE command is just nuts tho, they run around like crazy men shooting anything that moves, you lose all tactical control of the battle!


EVERYONE WHO PLAYS THIS GAME SINGLEPLAYER - generally tells them to hang back during missions and uses them as support if needed. Also they can be used for sync shots. But that's it!

I spend most of my time telling them to hang back. I'm doing most of the heavy lifting myself most missions.

Theyre pretty useless anyway, so yeah, I get annoyed with having to tell them to hang back ALL the time!

SO WHY NOT ASK FOR A LONE WOLF MODE???

I really enjoy playing this game Singleplayer, and implementing/adding a LONE WOLF MODE is far far easier than attempting to address the numerous issues with the AI.

Plus adding a LONE WOLF MODE would make the game more challenging which would be welcome..

Also it would make the game a more cohesive, solid Singleplayer experience, having to utilise all your tools to full effect in order to succeed..

I would definately prefer to play the game this way.... ( and remove the crappy Team Ai )
