Easiest class to play for us who really struggle

    Hi,

I play for 2 months now, and still cant to defense correctly. I play with berserker mostly. (I read a lot about tips and trick for him...)
I think I might try some other class.

My question is, (if there is such) which class is easiest to play and most forgiving?
I am asking cause I am starting to loose nerves and It would be great to enjoy a bit :P

    tnks!

Berserker (possibly all assassins) has a slow hit recovery that lets some classes get guaranteed light followups if you get hit once. The slow attacks and lack of unblockables makes berserker one of the hardest classes to succeed with.

Warlord with a passive build is very forgiving. Deadly, Flesh Wound, Tough as Nails, Auto-revive. Combined with a long throw in any direction, you can sneak in environmental kills everywhere if you can land one guard break.

Kensei is a little fragile but also simple to play for low-mid level. At high level you need to throw in feints. Unblockable feat is powerful.

Valkyrie has a large moveset, but you can win most fights with just lights and spear sweep.

Warlord without a doubt. He's by far the strongest (broken) hero in the game. Longest throw distance in the game, superior block, full block, hyper armour on heavy attacks and his infamous headbutt.

It gets even worse you take his feats into account. Deadly gives him a 15% damage increase, Flesh Wound gives him 25% damage reduction, Tough as Nails gives him +35 HP putting him at 175HP, and lastly Auto-revive. This allows him to revive himself without the help of another player. These can all be equipped at the same time. This is before factoring in gear as well which makes him even more ridiculous.

Fighting a 108 Warlord with all his feats active is like fighting a damn raid boss. Insane damage, tanky as helll with 55% damage reduction if they go full defense with their gear, highest HP hero in the game and the ability to self revive. Fighting one Warlord is like fighting 2 or 3 other players. Then if you finally kill him, you now have to do it again because he just self-revived.

Berserker isn't particularly bad per se, but it is unforgiving. It's only reliable source of damage outside of a solid feint game is parrying. And, because of the hit recovery and reflex guard, parrying is harder to accomplish than the vanguards or heavies.

Oh yeah, it's strong as heck when done correctly, no doubt, but I'm not sure you can really say WLs are for beginners.
Warlord relies heavily on parry, but I think to learn parry timing, Warlord's durability makes it more forgiving as it provides more opportunities to miss. Also, headbutt stab is a fairly reliable, albeit weak, source of damage.

Warlord os very forgiving and can deal high damage. His heavy strikes can not be interrupted and he has great crowd control.

Lawbringer is a beast since he was buffed. Hus slow guard change might bw a bit problematic though.

Warden is always good to learn basics.

Kensei is a powerhouse with great faints, high damage and very good range. His light attacks are fast.

Warlord is probably the easiest by far. He has a small moveset, easy to remember chains (light, heavy and heavy, light) and is overall quite forgiving. You have fast light attacks, the ability to punish after any parry with shield counter (and if they attack from top or right side, you get a free heavy as well built in) and you have head butt to break turtles. For Honor is my first fighting game and I played nothing but Warlord until rep 3 and I do fairly well. If you're struggling with For Honor, Warlord's your man. Learn him and you will have got most of your fundamentals down.

Also, don't listen to this guy when it comes to Kensei. Kensei takes quite a lot of effort to make him work. Sure, he's easier than Berserker but only slightly. Warden is pretty basic but for some reason I never liked how you have to tap light twice to get the confirmed second side light. If you learn Warlord, LB will be a natural fit for you (more or less).

Slow attacks? Berserker one of the hardest class to succeed? Are we playing the same game?
Berserker got one of the best buffs in the 1.05 patch, with his new and improved hyperarmor he can literally stand in your face and destroy you, as it takes only one mistake. Some classes whole counter attack kits don't even work on interrupting his attack chain no more, your either choice is to get away while he tracks you or trade-ins which if you have lower hp he always wins.

And before you get all high and mighty with the git gud and stuff, try to play against a berserk on a console, thanks to the still not-resolved issue of controller dead zones and the buffs he got (thanks Ubisoft for balancing PC and console versions the same, great job) he became sort of an uninterruptible tank with very good damage output, as some already compared him to.
