Seriously this is like a joke but I'm having huge problem with the start button on controller.I'm using a Xbox One S controller, having big hands to I usually hit the start button with my thumb when I try to guardbreak or counter guardbreak. Which open a stupid HUB that contribute nothing to the game I'm playing and leave me vulnerable for at least 1 second. I'm asking you devs, could you please make:
- Key mapping for controller so I can get it far away from my thumb
- Cannot press start button while lock on
- Hold start button for 1 sec for the meno to appear
I beg of you, anything above is okay, I think it is not hard for you, you are professionals after all
Final:
- Replace my controller is not a solution
- Cut off my thump is not a solution
- Gitting gud is not a solution
Simply put, the Ubi-devs, won't have a solution to your problem, because this is NOT a For Honor problem, it's an XBOX thing.Originally Posted by Wateverdude Go to original post
They changed the way the start button reacts, two firmware updates ago and this is the result.
No matter what game, the start button will always react like that and bring that quick menu up - it's like that for ALL games now.
And even with remapping button options, the Start button will not be touched, since it's basically the system's main button.
How the hell do you hit the start button when aiming for the X button?
What the hell are you, the Incredible Hulk? No one has hands that big!
Calm down a bit, aim for X. It's over an inch away from the start button. This isn't a thing ... you must be doing something wrong, or you have the worlds biggest thumbs.
