As the Title suggests,... something's different with the vehicle spawns now. now they dont drop on my own head that often anymore,... and they dont spawn right inside the only tree in the tundra anymore too... now they just seem to pick a even worse location thats simply at least one minimap diameter away from my current position. means i have to walk further to enjoy the same frustrating sensation im already used to. up until to 3.5
i dont get it... they already have a mechanic where the player can mark areas (spotting / mortar) why on earth they prefered to let the KI decide where its best to spawn your chopper, so much frustration. i mean it was funny at day one,... or maybe a week after. but for now its just annoying as ****. i already began to only hijack choppers, cause im near ragequitting by now when i experience this silly **** chopper spawns over and over again,... now just with extended range of possibilities to **** the spawns up....
why ubisoft,... why...![]()
Well, you can say thanks to those who were complaining about how Vehicle Drop Rebel Support is immersion breaking to be spawned as near as possible.
Note to Ubi: Bros, this is why next time you should test your changes first when you're taking suggestion from "immersion breaking" list. Keep doing this and your GRW will be yet another game that kills its own feature and mechanism.
I have never liked the vehicle spawn idea to begin with. Honestly I would prefer if they must have it then you need to go find a clearing, pop smoke and literally watch a cargo plane fly over head and see the vehicle parachute to the ground. But to me having a rebel force that's almost defeated as it suggested in the beginning able to do vehicle air drops doesn't make much sense to me. It would have to be a skill provided by one of the US agencies to make it more believable to me.
Those are good ideas. Let's hope they are implemented.Originally Posted by TristanKay Go to original post

i'd keep the 1 minute cooldown,... but it starts at the moment when you placed the "i want that chopper here please" button wherever you have a proper location for it. then, a timer starts, and after a minute a rebel pilot comes around and lands that chopper where you told them to. a little bit like in division where you have to wait for the chopper to extract stuff. if i only sat down and thnk about it, there were plenty of ways a AAA DEvelopment studio could implement such things. but i guess the only AAA personnel they have left at ubisoft is th worldbuild department. everything else feels like its borrowed off a ios game.
I have no issues with the new vehicle drops. Do I wish they were a little bit closer? Yes. However, at least now they don't just appear out of thin air. Now, it can be viewed as the rebels left the vehicle nearby and out of sight. What I would change is the smoke marker. Make that green smoke larger and taller that way we can see it from a distance.
Yep it's an awful mechanic that has no place in a game like this.Originally Posted by jagcivtec Go to original post
