The funny thing is how the feature for bodies to remain is already in the game. When you're doing a mission where you cannot be detected, the bodies remain until the mission is completed and you've left the area.

Needs bodies to stick around for the duration of the mission with a move body function. Yes I know, Dream On.

    Body Dwell Time

I agree, and I think many others do too. Several have posted on this as a complaint and a suggestion. It would totally change game play, making a roll for mixed squads of close in operators and long range snipers. Especially if they added the ability to drag corpses. I support this in the strongest possible terms. Ubisoft, add an option to the game that increases body dwell time, and/or make it the default for "extreme" difficulty.

    Please ...

Noticed this too. I can also understand that simply increasing the despawn time could seriously upset mission balance (making them impossible) in some cases. So I can understand it may take a while or not come at all.

IMHO if they make bodies stay permanent, there should also be a 'move body' option. Extra awesome would be to be able to tell the AI to move a body.

Totally. Hiding bodies should've been a standard, even if they vanish after being placed in a location defined as "hidden", it would've been better than what we have now in this "tactical shooter".

Oh well, maybe in GRW2 in 2019.

I agree with a longer despawn timer/trigger, but not really with a move option. Dead bodies leave blood spatter. Head shot victims leave even more mess. Perhaps this wouldn't be noticeable at night, but it would be just about as bad as an actual body in daylight.

You really shouldn't be hanging around long enough that multiple patrols with path around. Take out targets in strategic locations to give you access, get your target, and get out. If you have to take a target on a main sightlines, grab him and pull him someplace safe to dispatch him.

Heck, if you're wanting realism, guards should do periodic radio checks and notice things like a sniper not being at his post for an extended period. That could actually add a lot--wait for a radio check before you take your first kill, then you have, say, 10 minutes before they're automatically noticed as missing.

But really, just increasing the despawn timer would increase realism a lot.

What really irks me is that bodies that are props (hanging bodies, chopped up bodies..etc.) can be shot and will bleed or otherwise exhibit damage; whereas the bodies of enemies do not.

Huh... I never knew that the hanging bodies would bleed when shot. Seems that the devs got things mixed up since the fresh bodies should bleed, but older ones wouldn't so much as the blood would coagulate a few hours after death.

If the possibility is already in the game then I am glad to hear it. I hope they make it an option to have it in the entire game. Maybe on advanced and Extreme difficulties so people who don't want it can play on easy. And yes @fixer7267 moving bodies is sorely needed for the game!
