So the title basically says it all. Yesterday, after the outages I was able to play. Prior to that I've been able to play no issue (disconnects and end of match/end of round crash excluded) but both times I have tried to launch the game to play this morning, I have been swiftly met with a full computer lock up and crash.
The first time I was changing my orders and the game froze up entirely. I was unable to tab out, alt+f4 or cntl+alt+delete. I had to restart my entire system.
The second time I managed to change orders but when searching for a 4v4 elim match I was met with the exact same issue. I was unable to tab out, alt+f4, or cntl+alt+delete again and had to reboot my entire system.
My specs are as follows:
CPU: Intel i5-2300 @ 2.8ghz
GPU: Nvidia GTX 970
12GB of RAM
I am using windows 7, 64 bit
I've never had -this- particular issue with the game prior to this morning. I did a driver update a day or two ago and was playing with no issue then and again, I've yet to get into an actual match this morning because the entire PC lockup is happening before I even get into a match, on the mutliplayer menu/faction war map.
Hi there!
Try these out for me: https://support.ubi.com/en-US/faqs/0...roubleshooting
Additionally, Can you please run Uplay as an Admin and see if that fixes the issue? You can also try flushing your DNS (https://support.ubi.com/en-US/faqs/000024748) and resetting your Windows hosts file (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/972034).
