    Do ask for a refund!!

I'VE DONE IT!!! They refunded my digital game purchase, if you are tired of playing only when ubisoft allows you to, tired of wasting your time with a useless support telling you to do things that won't help, then go ahead and ask for a refund!

Surely they will bring up the policy crap, but don't listen to it, someone can not sell you a broken car and then refuse to give you your money back simply because they had a dusty board in the back of the office saying that they don't work with refunds.

But they will keep refusing and asking you to do useless stuff to check your PC, you can do some of those only to prove them that the issue is within the broken game. If even after that they still refuse to refund you, then ask them to take a look at case number 04708225, if they have done this for me then they have to do this for anyone willing to have a refund.

This is the best way to make them listen, when it starts hurting their wallets, you can even buy the game later if you want and if they fix it(very unlikely), but for now if you wanna make yourself heard, ask for a refund.

99.9% of players will not be able to get a refund due to time played, time since purchase or lack of a valid reason to refund the game. Console players are automatically excluded due to the fact that Microsoft and Sony will not refund digital purchases unless the game is literally unplayable and this game is not that. Add onto that that retail stores such as Gamestop, Walmart, Best Buy etc etc will not accept game returns once they are opened.

Steam refund only work if you try to return the game befor eyou have played a certain amount of time and odds are most people have surpassed that limit by now.

So unless you have a way to repackage a game or you can lie your butt off to a Customer Service person who is too dumb to check your trophy list you are outta luck. As you should be.

It depends on the country. Down here in Aus you can get a refund as long as you haven't played it to death. The constant errors and DCs are enough that it qualifies as not working.

    You have proof of that?

Otherwise I don't believe you. Let me see some screenshots of your refund.

Only twenty hours seems well within refund range.

Its not. Thats why steams refund window is like 2 hours of gameplay or within 14 days of purchase.

There are ALOT of games where you could complete the campaign or most of it in 20 hours. And if there was no campaign you could get DAYS of enjoyment out of 20 hours of multiplayer.

Either he is lying or he got away with basic theft as far as I am concerned. Either way the guy is scum to me.

You buy a game and it doesn't work? Thats fine get a refund. But don't sit there and get days of gameplay out of it and they say you want your money back. That is some cheap BS.

I get to play a game that I paid for whenever it fits the company and I'm the scum?

20 hours of fun? Sure, I had a lot of 'fun' trying to fix the game for 10+ of those 20 hours(There was a time I could launch the game but could not play matchs, and now I can not even launch the game anymore), I paid the game to play a full game whenever I want to play it, not to only play a 8 hours campaign and then not even be able to launch the game anymore.

And you don't have to trust me, if you want a refund just ask the support to look at the case I provided, I did not go for trick ways to get my refund, I said directly that this game was broken and that I could not play it so I wanted my money back, the support kept refusing and I kept asking for it, that's all. But welp, guess that even crappy companies like ubi have their fanboys .

I don't care about your reasons.

You had adequate time to get a refund and I still don't even believe you got one. And I don't want a refund I love the game and have gotten way more than my moneys worth for it.

I also love how me enjoying a game and disliking people looking for a free meal makes me a fanboy lol

    Since that's all you wanted.

And btw, I've already received a email from the 'proper team', it will only take from 1 to 3 days to process the credit.

And just so that I understand your reasoning, why should I not ask for a refund of a product that does not work?
