Why did they think making Leg Sweep a Finisher was a good idea? Stab Stab Sweep is the only move I see 99% of the Valkyries using. This **** needs to go.

Not sure this will change your mind but Valk can only get 1 heavy from sweeping you before you are back on your feet. Again nearly all sweeps are fully dodgeable. EVEN the one that follows the two lights. And her heavy is one of the least damaging in the game. Only IF you are out of stam, or close to out of stam AND get caught in a GB will the sweep become undodgeable when it is part of a larger combo.

IDK if you're on console but if you are then yes, I hear that Valk's lights can be painful to deal with. And because those lights are harder to block I image the sweep is used more regularly. Try and practice rolling immediately after you get hit by two lights. On PC blocking the first light, let alone the second, is rather easy. And again blocking either stops the sweep.

The only sweep that isn't dodgeable is the one that comes after being hit to the side after getting GBed. But again she is only guaranteed one 25HP heavy before you will be able to defend again.

They can get a light thrust and a side heavy before Im up, and still have enough time to shield bash me without a defense to get a final top heavy off.

Only if you have been caught in a GB with no stamina. It's a substantial punish to be sure but I think it's designed that way to make up for her low damage in general play. And FYI her two optimal OOS punishes are 1)heavy, light, sweep, heavy or 2) (headbutted to drain stam) pouncing light, light, sweep, heavy. But she has to work to get it. And after she has done that your stam should be pretty much replenished.
Her shield bash that comes after the heavy in the above combos is also dodgeable. As you are getting up you can immediately dodge.

Valk is a mid teir hero at best. But her strength lies in her mixups. The more you play against her the more you'll be able to counter her moveset. And maybe play her to get a better understanding of what she can and can't do.

What i have to admit is myself have hard time fighting a valk who sweep a lot . but in my mind this is a noob combo
I don't mind the leg sweep. I just want it to be tightened up. Have you ever seen it knock down 5 players (both enemies and friendlies)? I have. The arc is to large. It should only strike a small are in front of the Valk's feet. Then there's the tracking. I don't disagree that it's "easy to dodge" so long as you know it's coming and dodge at the right time. But despite this the mechanics of it are so loose that the reward for throwing it out is to great for the reward. The tracking IS a problem. It should be fixed. All unblockables should be, given they have to be dodged, and dodging posses enough danger in and of itself.

I have struggled with Valk's leg sweep for quite some time now. Yesterday after work I started up a practice session and finally mastered it. I'm dodging sweeps for days! Such a rewarding feeling. Love this game.

My issue of course was timing it just right. No way to tell someone how in a forum, you really just have to work on it in game until you get it. Wish I could be more help.
