After patch 1.06 my game on pc could not start. To try and fix this, i uninstalled the game and reinstalled it. Now I can play the game again but, the controls are completely wrong. One example of this problem is the way that my left trigger now heavy attacks, and my right trigger zone attacks but, none of the controls seem to lock on to enemies. The keyboard still plays fine, but I learned to play this game on controller and as someone who paid $60 for this game, I believe I should not have to relearn the basic mechanics of the game because the devs got a wild hair up their butts and wrecked my game. I want this issue resolved because in recent history the shottiness of this game has left me having to work on fixing the game that devs "fixed." It feels similar to the time my very little cousin found himself not only with access to a hammer but, also the strength to wield it. He hit a car with the intention of fixing it. Whether or not the car needed fixing had yet to have been seen by any of us in my family. What was seen however was how noticeably broken it was after the "maintenance."
Personally though I consider the example with ubisoft to be more extreme. Sure the car was definitely worth more than $60 but, the owner could still drive it after and even if they couldn't have it's not like the act of getting it to be able to drive inverted the controls of the steering wheel while also making the act of turning left also apply the brakes.
I feel like I shouldn't have to deal with these problems from such a large developer. I think being a large corporation means I should be able to trust you to do more good than harm to my game as the people who built it, because right now you seem less qualified for this kind of work than a toddler with a hammer.

TL;DR
Ubisoft appear to be paste eaters.
