So I have got the game For Honor on my laptop but it would run really slowly even with minimum possible graphics (15fps). So I decided to use an external GPU to plug into my laptops mini pci-e slot. The card that I used for this was the Asus GTX 660Ti that runs on Nvidia drivers. The whole thing is set up, with drivers installed, but my in built GPU (AMD Radeon Mobility HD 5000 Series) won't turn off in my computer and even if I try disabling it from Device Manager it just keeps whirring away. Now when I start For Honor it goes at the same framerate. Minimum= 15fps
Low= 15fps
Medium= 15fps
High=14fps
Extreme=12fps
Why are they all almost the exact same framerate? Isn't the Nvidia 660Ti meant to be able to give 720p 30fps?
If this question is too techical, I'll put it on other forums too because I just don't know what to do.
P.S. I can't disable my in built GPU from BIOS because it is an older version.
Thanks-
Alexander
