Alright, never posted on the forums before, I figured it was time. I have a few annoyances that I think the community will agree on.
First, Ubi, stop making "new content" No one gives a damn. Fix the servers or better yet, take the millions of dollars that you have and, idk, get rid of the P2P ******** and spend some money on some stand alone servers? What I would truly love, is to be able to play an entire game and not get kicked out because someone's connection might not quite be up to par.
Second, Balancing. After you finally fix the servers, THEN you can start working on balancing characters. Don't give us more emotes or executions that we won't really be able to experience because we get kicked out. Anyways, As Far as Shugoki goes, bring back the Knock Down from Charge of Oni. There was a simple fix to the exploited charge, cancel, heavy, and all that you had to do with that is MAKE IT NOT CANCELABLE, once you commit to the charge that's it you knock them down or they dodge... period. I say this because I for one enjoyed bowling people over. It was fun, maybe not "Honorable", but fun, and to just stagger them... not so fun.
Third, Defensive Meta. I know you're working on it, and kudos to you. However, there are some great ideas out there that I have heard and I feel some of them are valid.
1. Chip Damage makes so much sense to me. This would be more people attacking instead of standing there waiting for their opponent to attack.
2. Change the way parries work. If you Parry a light attack, you get a heavy attack punish. If you parry a heavy, you get a light attack punish. and Remove free Guard break from a parry.
3. Guard Breaking - useful tool but like the suggestion above I think it should only be useable aside from a parry.
The above suggestions are not my own. I will not take credit for them. But I do feel as if these were implemented, it would make sense.
I'm sure i'll think of more things later when I get frustrated that I can't log in.. or that I can't finish a game, but for now, this is what I have.
