Best way to farm set gear?

    Hi All,

My friend and I have recently started playing the division again.

I would like to get 4 pieces of reclaimer so I can go healing / support build for incurrsions. However, after 2 weeks of doing underground, last stand, survival and daily missions. I have only received one piece of reclaimer, which was the chest - which I do not want as I will use my yellow chest and bag.

Where is the best place to farm set pieces? Solo or with a friend.

    Thanks

If you are farming anything farming with a group of 4 is always the best option. Especially if they are looking for something you are not. HVT's are good as well. I wouldnt waste time with underground, it takes too long for the reward you get. The easiest and quickest farm if you can get points is LS. However if you can stomach running lexington with 3 friends that is quick as well.

when in a group, don't forget to mention that you're looking for reclaimer gear, so they can share spare parts. Also equip xp chest en kneepads, more field proficiency caches are always welcomed.

Each week at the BoO vendor in the sub-basement, buy a Reclaimer gear piece with Phoenix Credits. It may not be the best, but the sooner you can acquire a 4-piece set, the more relaxed you will feel. Next, buy a Season Pass to get 3 HE items twice a month. Add 3 alts, and farm the LZ bosses.

One last tip from numerous other users: collectibles. They help you earn proficiency caches based on XP.

In order to do that, you must find people who are trust worthy, and people who are willing to share.

If someone gets god roll item they wont ever use, most likely they wont share it.

Me personally i share all items i get when playing in group, because old saying is true. One man's trash is another man's treasure.

So far i shared 6 Barret's chest pieces and 4 MDR's.That's something i managed to remember.

When i boost newbies,i share all items, when i get set items i share them, doesn't matter if they are any good or bad.

I remember while ago,i needed D3 FNC gloves, doesn't matter how bad they were,i needed them.Took me 2 weeks of spamm in groups 'if you get D3 gloves and don't need them, drop them' and after 2 weeks i got drop myself.I have hard time imaging no one got them for 14 days of group gameplay.

6 months since i got back, and in 6 months i have seen 2 exotic items shared.I cant remember first one,but second one was today.

I am doing only Heroic/Legendary.I have hard time believing every exotic people get,its better than ones they already have.

People are greedy,Massive overhyped those exotic items, people would sell their mother in order to get one. Most of the people don't even get high end items are much better than exotic ones.Ouf of 26 exotic items, you can use only 6 tops.Other items are totally worthless and most of the people are never going to use them.

Recently i got Navy with 23% crit and 18.1 base damage (with my low firearms) and i would never trade it for any Exotic item,no matter how good it is.

Most of the exotic items are useless, but people would like to have them, even if they are never going to use them. Why?Because Massive said its rare endgame reward.

High end items (often better than exotics) can be crafted anytime you want, but it could take you months to get exotic item you need.

Same goes for Barret's chest piece.People would give their hands and legs in order to get it,but what they don't realize its since 1.6 patch, that item became horrible, and you are better of using something else, yet you see them farming Lexi every day for hours.

And that's the reason why you never can rely upon other people to give you item you need. You can ask for it,but you can never be sure if they are going to share it.

Its really sad, seeing someone who share every item, and who's point to have fun and making other people happy, but at the same time in same damn game, people being selfish and not even sharing common high end item.

DZ. The place where they grow the gear. The farm.
