Why not insert The Hunter in DZ9 landmark?

I don't understand why harder difficulties mean just more and more dumb NPCs. Sounds like Serious Sam style.
Give us fewer but smarter NPCs like hunters in all activities instead of those hordes.

I would love to hear how you would have this work. The idea of hunters in the DZ is something that I love; suggested a random chance of them spawning at extractions (that didn't go down well! LOL). This is definitely interesting!

    We want hunters everywhere.
Replace Legendary difficulty NPCs with hunters instead of dumb hordes of LMBs.

I don't play Survival so Asher was as close as I ever got to anything like a Hunter and that was awesome.
I killed him four times with four completely different builds and had a lot of fun...the skill power build was a little easy but he almost killed me anyway because I was caught so off guard.

But yeah...I want lots of NPCs like that instead of the mindless mobs that just rush through bullets even when they're on fire.
Give me something to think about when I fight for a landmark or a bosses turf.

If you have played legendary missions, then you have been fighting Hunter AI in the form of LMB3. Asher, imo, was easier than a regular hunter, but still gives you an idea of how they behave and why those, such as myself LOVE the Hunters and their mechanics!

Not even close. There are the same dumb hordes of shot-gunners. The LMBs are just pressing you with mass, not intellect.
We need PVP like opponents in PVE.

The closest things to Hunters in legendary are the first wave agent bosses.
I hope they continue to improve the intelligence of the AI.
