Peacekeeper Balance Changes Confirmed. | Forums

Due to the insistence of the Peacekeeper player base that they are in fact currently balanced, the devs have decided not to nerf the Peacekeeper. After reading all the whining and rationalization, they have decided that she in fact needs a buff.

Here are the changes as they currently stand:

1. Increased bleed effect. Bleeds now stack and are applied with every light attack. This is to encourage more light spam since the data shows it hasn't been used as often as intended.

2. Weapon upgrades. The default weapon will now be equipped with lightsaber blades. This will speed up her heavy attacks and make them unblockable. Also upon landing a successful heavy, it is 100% fatal.

3. New Feat "The Look". You know you're in trouble when she gives you the look. This feat is activated at match start and has no cooldown. When used, fire shoots from her eyeballs applying an emolation effect that lasts the entire match even after death.

4. New Ornament/Effect. To recognize how hard PKs have had it so far and to acknowledge the other classes privilege over her, she will get a new Ornament in the form of a snowflake. When equipped the snowflake comes with the new Effect of gently falling snow. Activating the Effect via emote will create a temporary safe space in which the Peacekeeper cannot be attacked.

These changes should only buff the PK slightly over where she is now, and most players won't notice a difference while playing.

Too many PK mains explaining why the nerfs to PK were necessary and offering rational arguments for why other parts of their kit aren't OP in your other thread whining about PKs, so you had to start a new one?

Why not just give PK the "unlock tech", because thats fair, balanced, and intended. Cant be that OP since Raider has it...wait....

I mean point No. 3 is actually a nerf. It doesnt do anything and would take away from one of my completely OP, no one else has anything like it, feats.

I think she also needs a feat that allows her to fire out wheel skeletons. With no cooldown obv.

Youve got subtle humor going on here. But more so its just your way of letting out all your frustration of getting curb stomped by an OP character. Ya shes OP, ya she deserves and is getting a nerf.

Worry about getting your own snowflake, sounds like you need one a lot more.

Well let's see I made one about my experience first trying out a PK, and now this one.

So two.

I promise not to do three in a row. That would be like......spam.

Then again as a PK you wouldn't know anything about that and would never dream of such a dastardly deed.
