    Try restarting and see if that helps! Let me know how it goes and maybe you won't even need to go through support.
    I've wasted time doing the reinstall and guess what? THE GAME IS STILL BROKEN! What a surprise, no?

    What should I waste my time with now? A 12 hours memtest?

    Seriously, people calm down...

    People come on dont be inmature and calm down.
    I understand that youre upset cause u paid for the game and so you wanna be able to play it whenever you want to.
    But you have to remind yourself that this is life and such things can happen sometimes.
    They will fix it but that takes time its no magic...so be patient and calm down...it will be fixed.

    I'm calm now, since I've got a complete refund for a broken product. Too bad, I really enjoyed the game from the few hours I was able to play it. Welp, will keep in touch with the game news so that if it is fixed someday I may buy it again, but until then I will be free from dealing with ubi ********.

    Funny how the "fix" broke my game. 1.6 alone ran fine, no problems. After the "hotfix" the game now closes out immediately after the title screen when I press any key (during the "contacting servers" screen). No error message. Nothing in the logs. Just big ol' nothing.

    There is literally no way for me to troubleshoot this. I am at a loss. Most I can do is try a full reinstall, but of course, that's going to take awhile with my bandwidth (and worse, I have a bloody bandwidth cap thanks to the wonders of US internet monopolies). Great time all around, eh?

    Half true, I'm sure they won't miss me or my few cents, but I was wasting a LOT of time and mental energy trying to fix the game. Actually I wasted at least two more times trying to fix the game than actually playing it. So even if I am now missing a good game to play, I got a lot of time to actually enjoy with something else.

    I bought the game today and couldn't even play it for five minutes total. Crashes to the desktop everytime.Log says that chunk id 0000000000148D78 doesn't exists in cache

    Just after getting the Cent after saving up 15k steel and waiting for 1 week. I was playing for 1 hour without getting any rewards due to the server issues on th 23rd then the game crashed every time before the 'press any key' screen. Now, two reinstalls (with troubleshooting error 'wasnt able to start your download pls check internet and disk space blabla') and a defragmentation later, the game wont even open up at all and i have the critical error mentioned at the beginning of this thread.
    I just wanna play this game man

    Edit: after completing the download, crashing several times and then verifiying the data, the game just started downloading again starting at 20% completion....

    Really sorry to hear about that JoeLiegestuhl. It seems like you know your stuff with the troubleshooting you've done so far, but perhaps our support team might be able to help. They've documented a variety of issues that players have had and might be able to point you in the right direction to get this fixed. If you report it to them, be sure to include the troubleshooting steps you've taken so far so they can assist you from there. If you don't hear back on the ticket within 48 hours, shoot me a PM with your ticket numbers and I'll look into it.
