What will happen is the historically known "Vikings Civil War" that happened during year 1 a.A. (after Apollyon fall), where Vikings , the remaining civilization after the famous First Faction War, destroyed each other following different leaders. One of that Viking leaders, called Delfin The Dragonborn, decided while watching his brothers slaughter each other, that it was time to bring a new more civilizated Kingdom to the throne, so he and his followers left Vikings land and ended in the East, where he became a Samurai in his path to Wisdom and united all the remaining non-fallen samurai under his flag, at the same time that Vikings Civil War ended, during the one vikings lost a good bit of its power, and the new Samurai Emperor, Delfin The Dragon, was ready for the real fight to destroy his barbarian old brothers: Season 2. Me in my real faction soon. Fear S2 Samurai.

(I was Viking the whole season due to my shield having to be rounded, cause YinYang symbol I use. Now I will use blossom tree Tony Tony Chopper emblem from One Piece, so its fine the rectangle and I will be Samurai)

This doubt has been blowing my mind since I began to have suspicions that the Vikings would win the round.
I mean, there ins't any penalty, (Apart from losing the first round) you can easily win chests from vikings, and them use that chests for your Samurai/knight characters.

I think that people who participate in the war of factions, should only receive war resources if you support your faction, ie Viking playing with a Viking character,
Because otherwise, I think a lot of people will change factions now, and they will break that system.

that would be interesting. Or perhaps even a bonus to war assets for playing your own factions heroes, rather than eliminating assets altogether if you don't.

I think I got lucky with my faction choice. I went Samurai, and I've found all of the samurai to be immensely fun to play. Main Orochi, and bushi and shugi as my off choices when I don't want to outright slaughter noobies. My only non-faction hero is the lawbae (which I started playing pre-buff btw) because pancake flipping is fun.

Personally i think you should have a bonus by the numbers of your faction and nothing more, to balance war factions in despite of members in each group

As a samurai, I have honor and I will never lose my honor and dignity by betraying my faction to join another simply because we lost a battle.

To those people giving Knight faction players a hard time for switching, you would probably do the same if your faction didn't win a single round all season.

If there's no change in the Faction War system before next season I'll be jumping ship as well, because our player base will be a lot smaller than it already is.

The system is broken, don't blame the players for wanting a chance to win. Vikings and Samurai are the only competitive factions, why wouldn't people join them to feel like they're in the war.

Lol, nice. Nope, I know I am about 95% likely to do the same. Only reason I didn't sooner is I didn't want to lose out on the crates.
