As a viking I played almost all night deploying assets in territories that were contested with the samurai. I like to believe I played a small role in taking the cake.

Thats just not true.
Ubisoft released a blogpost where they stated:

30% of Playerbase on Vikings
31% Knights
39% Samurai


BUT the sad part is:

47% of Viking War Assets were manually deployed
45% of Knights assets
44% of Samurai Assets

And bcs Vikings are getting more Assets per Player (bcs they are few players than samurai and knights) every single player had a much bigger impact on faction war then the samurai.
And we had more ppl that didnt even care about it.

Ubisoft needs to reward ppl who actively participate in the faction war.

I think its pretty unfair that 53% of the viking player get rewards off the work that 47% of their playerbase did.
Furthermore its unfair that 44% of Samurai Players got fcked by 56% of their own Faction bcs they simply dont care...

Ah and yes.
Knights were clearly the ones who declared the champions this season.
They chose to fight against us Samurai on Viking Side.
Simple as that.

The tin men were betrayed by their own who chose to sacrifice their border with the Vikings...
Many have denied this,but it was in so many of the tin men's posts on many different forums,,here too.

YET THEY SOLD OUT THE TRUE CHIVALROUS AMONGST THEIR FACTION,,AN INSIGHT INTO THEIR CHARACTER.

I agree with the topic.
Personally, I defended our territories about 150 times, and attacked 80 times.
All my attacks (or almost) were not done on territories involving 3 factions! I chose territories on our borders (sometimes the ones on the border but it is not the wiser method, as it can be easily surrounded too).
Moreover, I deployed assets 90% of the times against those vikings.

Even vikings characters in my team are able to friendly fire me when then zone attack soldiers at my side. Once I got 1 health bar left because of a neckbeard swinging like a dumb...
Make them pay :P

Former tin man here.... I switched to samy during the off season ...as a Kensei main I felt like I needed to be samy don't no why I went tin man to begin with ...I've been a samurai freak since I was a kid. Hope we do our best this season. Anyone on ps4 hit me up witch-king-330 I work slot so not a whole lot of OT at times but I play hard when given the chance.

We still deploy assets very badly, i'm constantly seeing territories getting isolates in viking or knight zone. We have to deploy more wisely

Yesterday night I saw a slight comback, that was sweet. I personally don't feel like vikings are a threat. I've been applying all I've got against the tinny fronts. Not just attacking but if I see them gaining ground on our pieces of land I'll defend until its 49/51 again.

Hm, the deploying assets thing is a problem with game modes. Sometimes, one mode only affects like one square. And that sometimes is exactly the mode most popular. That of course makes for a stretch into enemy territory that might get taken away rather soon. However, the way the system works right now, the majority doesn't care. And I imagine people that care have gotten less. Interface is clunky time consuming without any real feedback and no sense of personal accomplishment. Though I don't deploy war assets manually when fighting in those sure to cut off areas, my part right now still is rather low.
Maybe, as a fellow Samurai player, I dislike the current dominion meta too much to send my Samurai characters in to die to the centurion plague. So I stick to PvAi until the crowd control problems are fixed. However, if I am not the only one who is taking a slight break from PvP due to some issues that already exist for a long time, one might have even more explanations. Because, honestly, I believe centurion is really helping knights.

You lost because of time zones. When a whole faction goes to sleep they can't defend their territories. expecially when this happens in the last hours.
