only way ti fix that is BACK UP your own save files FIRST
see
https://support.ubi.com/en-US/Faqs/D...p-my-save-game
then uninstall uplay
download the most recent version of Uplay here https://uplay.ubi.com
open Uplay settings (un tick the box for it )
shut off the uplay cloud save sync setting in Uplay settings
some how you have a corrupted cloud save on your system .. i keep that evil setting to OFF all the time and manually back up my own saves ..if ya need backed up saves post back i have a save for just about every mission for for FC 4 i can give ya a link to get em from as well as my .zip has instructions on how to use them .
but if you back up what ya have they may also work , so you wont need mine ..see monkey mans video here , he had the problem with FC primal and was kind enough to make a vid of how he fixed his problem https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZIldEExOZ54
but yea no matter what yea .. i would uninstall and reinstall uplay ..so you have the up to date version , as it could also be a scripting error
I did also reinstall Uplay.
I had to add "H:\Games\Far Cry 5\bin\EACLaunch.exe" to the exemption list of windows firewall.
Basicly my anti cheat thingy was being blocked by window firewall.
I had just reinstalled windows and had the same problem with non sync and game not being able to run at all, But could run far cry 3 no probs. That said I never ran far cry 3 before install, Maybe that has something to do with it and the installer didn't bother to ask for exempt because the cloud for FC5 was set up maybe?
Hope this helps.
The address may be different for you, this is where my far cry is installed and used it as an example.

Problem is now solved I found on one of the forums that the Ubisoft agent suggested to another person to enable his Phone 4g (or 3G) Internet to the computer and then try to run the game to see if Cloud service would work. Well I installed the game on a different computer that runs through wifi (Mine is Ethernet) started the game and cloud save was synchronized. Then I came back to my main PC ran the game and Somehow that activated cloud Synchronization on my main computer.
Thanks for the help.
That's the solution that worked for me.
I'm glad that the issue has been resolved. Happy gaming!Originally Posted by ProphetAlpha Go to original post![]()
