I choosed Shugoki as my main after two weeks of gameplay. First I tryed Conqueror but shield spam is not so fun for me and I want more teamwork game experience. So I choose Valkyrie but lots of bugs totally disappoint me. So ... I choose Shugoki. It was hard pain to learn how fight. At this moment I can win more time than loose. But after patch 1.06 I will be forced to leave bacause 3 months of gameplay to rep16 will be wasted.
Most time, after killing an enemy I not run around but wait over dead body to prevent revive. Charge of Oni is great to get through turtle enemy but I used it as "close gap" ability. If you change it, I will not be able to prevent revive if I will be more than 3 meters away. ... Changing this ability will destroy this hero. I am glad it is not just my opinion but you can find same posts here and over internet (YouTube).
And for another ability "Demons Embreace". This broken game recognize throw against wall maybe in 50% of cases. Only ppls which not use dodge can be catched. Otherway it is high risk. Only great use is in teamwork, for example when enemy trigger revange mode, you can grab them and all around can land free heavy hits...
After the patch, Shugoki will be no more see in match list. Every ability - light, heavy, area attacks - are easily to parry. Average player can easily wait for an attack and punish Shugoki. In Duels, where you have no benefits of your equipment, you can not use any combos because of stamina. Attack -> Feint -> GB = zero stamina. So ... using feints are not clever in this kind of matches.
Iam sad, I met totally worst game company - Ubisoft. Worst Support, programmers, testers ... this is another bad experience how to ruin game for Shugoki player base.

I just played against rep8 Berserker. 3 matches. I try to avoid using Charge of Oni. I had big problems to stand a fight. He has faster light attacks than me. He parry almost my every second light attack! And what he do? ... only switching guards and wait for my action. What I can do? ... nothing. Sometimes I use feint but I must watch over my stamina. As I sad before ... Heavy attack - > cancel -> GB = zero stamina! ... but he can do feints all the time....
So how it ends? ... I won 2 matches from 3. Last match I won because start using Charge of Oni. But he knows how to avoid it and punish me lots of time. So I must use "tactics" and use it only in right moments to get advantage....
So ... if you will change Charge of Oni, Shugoki will be most weakest hero ever!
