Instead of not letting attack/defense stack how about you do away with revenge attack power stat and replace it with extra stamina reduction in revenge stat. Then drop unlimited stamina in revenge. It could still top off your stamina to full when you pop revenge but you couldn't spam high cost attacks without penalty. The more you spec the more attacks but you would still be giving up another stat like feat reduction or throw. Attack power is strong without revenge so it's not needed as a boost but defense is needed to bring back the idea of revenge to make it viable other than try and run. When you make it to a point you have to give up in 1v4 instead of trying just cuz of 100 percent chance to loose every time you lost the joy of playing especially for any randoms.
