    OK, and?

If someone is stupid enough to run into 4 people alone, at least do it in a place that is advantageous to you.

We are talking about what happens if you run into 4 people. You said, "nobody can win a 1v4". Not "nobody can win a 1v4 with revenge alone".

    It's a 4v4 match, where's your team? Play it like a 4v4 game mode, not a 1v4 game mode.

My overall Kd and stats are good in 1v1 2v2 and 4v4 but i'm really struggling with fending off gank squads because the revenge doesn't help anymore, i can't run because of the tracking i can't throw because its always getting interrupted with 4 players swinging everywhere. Not saying bring revenge back like it was but just implement some new features as others suggested.

    3. Target switching is a must, especially when your revenge mode is ready to be fired off.

    5. Use everything and anything that limits meeting multiple enemies -- hallways, doorways, obstacles, minions.. etc..

I do all of that, with 4 enemies against me my flank will be guarded and attacked as well as my front. i'm always moving but there comes a point where i will have to face the gank squad especially in elimination. i always switch targets but get interrupted by aimless enemies. i get what your saying in an ideal world but in actual game its must harder to limit contact with a gank squad someone will stop you in your tracks eventually and i have max sprint speed.

You can't expect to survive forever so basically retreat tactics and revenge are meant to prolong your life and extend the combat until help arrives or some of enemies break off.

Frankly, expecting a surefire, guaranteed method of fending of 4 people alone in a elimination game type like.. er;; .. Elimination, is asking for the impossible. It's something that shouldn't even happen in the first place, since if the enemy team eliminated already 3 of your members and yet lost none of theirs, they played exceptionally well.

Isn't it only natural to basically acknowledge its already a lost game?
My point is now there is no way of a comeback, which makes the game exciting and tense win or lose.
